How high are the Droprates for it. Im farming my ass off since the event started and I still haven't got it. Is the higher the difficulty the higher the Dropchance or am I good farming in Thunder?
Novice: 0.1%
Intermediate: 0.2%
Advanced: 0.4%
Expert: 0.8%
Thunder: 1.2%
Storm: 1.6%
These are your odds. If you can comfortably clear Storm then that would be best to farm but if not, then stick with Thunder and hopefully you will eventually get one to drop. Good luck!
As a general rule, higher difficulty nodes have better drop rates, especially for rare items. This site lists the drop rate for Summertime Mistress at 1.6% for Storm difficulty and 1.2% for Thunder. If my math is right, if you do 43 runs on Storm difficulty, you'll have a 50% chance of getting Summertime Mistress, and you need to do 87 runs to have a 75% chance for it.
[My calculation is that probability of not getting the drop on a single run is (1-.016), probability of not getting the drop on n run is (1-.016)^n, so probability of getting it on n run is 1-(1-.016)^n. For those who are more math inclined, is that the right way of thinking about this?]
Probably farm storm but even then it's a super low droprate. I've been clearing all 3 storms for a bit now (iron is annoying because I have to bring a support shishou to complete it and miss out on about +2 iron coz of that) and haven't seen any drop. You never know though, maybe you'll get lucky!
