I know this is probably the nth time this question has been asked, but I can't help but think about it.
Last week, I rolled on Merlin's banner with 8 multi rolls and I failed to get him.
I rolled again earlier today and I still failed. Multi again and some tickets.
I still have around 50 SQ (I can make it to 60) from free quests and I want him so bad not because he's broken but he's one of my favorite characters. I realize that this is a dumb question but should I do singles this time around, to experiment a little? I apologize for the question but I just can't help it.

Singles are considered the best but is mostly because you can control the amount of rolls that you make and save more quartz and also that you can get a 5-4 star with the ticket, the downside is that you are more luck reliant than the multis, cuz they guarantee a golden card for what i get so that would be either a 4-5 star CE or a 4-5 star servant.
So yeah, try the singles and make use of the tickets that you get in solomon
There is no significant statistical difference between singles or multi. Either you roll multi to save time, or singles to save quartz.
It's all anecdotal evidence. Some have better luck with singles, others with multis. Personally I've only ever gotten 1 SSR on a single pulls. For me multis work best for me, I've had at least 5 instances where I have pulled 2 SSR on a multi as well as SSRs back to back on multis, however this is just my experience from my account, singles might be better for you.
It depend on someones luck.
The odds pretty much same, 1 % for SSR both Single and Multi. The only difference is multi summon has a guaranteed 4 * Card and single summon for more SQ control.
Luck can't be calculated and deal with it, but you can hope to get a better result in your rolls.
