Save for Archer Gil or Ozymandias?

I am currently looking at the future NA banners, and I am wondering if I should save for Archer Gilgamesh or Ozymandias. My current SR and SSRs are as the following:

Saber: Rama, Brave Liz (NP5)
Lancer: Jalter Santa lily (NP5)
Archer: Archer Altria, Orion
Rider: Santa Alter (NP5)
Assassin: Summer Scathach, Carmilla
Caster: Nursery rhyme (NP2), Casgil (NP2), Merlin (NP1), Halloween Liz (NP5)
Berserker: Heracles

As you can see, I currently need:
AOE saber, AOE archer, ST lancer, and ST rider.
Is Archer Gilgamesh or Ozymandias a better investment for post-Solomon content and challenge quests? Why?

Looking at what you have Ozy is more useful. However he can spook you at any time, where as Gil Archer is limited.

So Ozy if you feel you need to fill gaps in your roster or Gil Archer because he is limited.

Ozy because team Np charge, buff success up and he wrecks shit, NP seal on his NP. He is self sufficient, deals damage, survives, gives support to the team.

Gil wrecks servants and is good for wave clearing and boss battles, but will want support for survivability. If you bring Gil for bosses it's because they are servants or you have stars to feed him.

Thanks! Also, which one do you think I should prioritize? Ozymandias has a single rate-up banner mid February, and Archer Gilgamesh has a single rate-up late April.

Missed that you had Memelin. I would recommend focus on getter Gil Archer first then as with Memelin you can breeze through most content. And farming is most of the game and Gil does it well except for lancer nodes.

I'd suggest going for Gilgamesh, because:

1- Ozy is coming on February and Gil is coming on April. By choosing Gil you'd have more time to save quartz, assuming nothing catches your eye along the way.

2- Gil is a limited edition servant while Ozy isn't. Once Gil's banner is over in April, it could take months for him to show up again, if not years (like Jalter), while Ozy can spook you anytime. It's also worth mentioning that putting limited servants on your support list will make people jelly.

3- Somewhere around May (I think) there'll be a rerun for the Onigashima event, which you give you a free SR Rider Kintoki. He has an amazing ST NP, and that would fill a hole in your chaldea. Also, while it doesn't feature Ozy's NP seal or def down, Kintoki's NP deals the most damage against Casters out of ALL servants!

However, there will also be an event that will give a free Obu Nobunaga around March (I think), which is an amazing AoE Archer and waifu. Both will fill holes in your chaldea, but it's worth considering leveling one (or both) of them for worst case scenarios.

4- You have no Buster-based archers that could benefit from your Merlin's buffs, while you do have a Rider that can. While Obu Nobunaga technically CAN benefit from it, she won't outperform Gil, specially when it comes to killing servants.

5- Gil has several interludes and can improve his amazing skills even further, while Ozy unfortunately can't.

It's a tough decision, but both of them are amazing servants and you won't leave unsatisfied no matter who you go for. I might give Gil a try myself, if I manage to save enough. I wish you the best of luck!

Ozymanidas: Mid-Feb, late September, early November
Gilgamesh: Late April

So maybe I should save for Gil's April banner, then save for Ozymandias' November banner?

Sounds like there are plenty of opportunities to roll for Ozy this year, while there's only ONE for Gil, at least on a banner where he's solo. In that case I'd definitely recommend rolling for Gil. The game devs intend start throwing events at random so that we can't predict stuff like we've been doing, so who knows when he'll come back? I'll most likely do the same tbh.

This website can help you plan when to start saving your quartz, gives you an estimate on how many you'll have by the day you selected and also shows you the odds of you pulling a specific thing from a banner with the quartz you'll have by then. It's very useful! Give it a try, it'll help you plan accordingly for both of them.
