Sakata Kintoki vs. Heracles

From my inexperienced perspective, they seem to serve a similar purpose. I have a Heracles at level 70. Just pulled a Kintoki and am wondering if I should invest in him instead. Possible teammates I have to use are Waver, Iskandar, Orion, Altria, Emiya Archer, Emiya Assassin, Hans Christian Andersen, Cu Chulainn, Rama, Siegfried, and the usual assorted budget servants

No they don't.
Kintoki is a burst DPS
Herc is a backliner/soloist (with bond CE).

The main power of Herc is his amazingly overpowered Bond 10 Craft Essence, so once he's maxed out he's much more durable than Kintoki.

Kintoki will always beat him in damage output and NP gain though.

Kintoki has better damage and can reach have his NP quicker thanks to his 2nd skill, while Heracles is far more durable thanks to his evasion and his lvl 10 bond CE.

Kintoki can be a very good single boss killer and Herc can be a clutch backliner for harder content.
