Role of Illya?

I know its early to be asking about her but I mainly just wanted to ask to get it out of the way. I had planned to roll for Illya regardless of her role in a team since I had no caster. That was until I was spooked by Tamamo Caster. I was wondering if it would still be worth to roll for her anyways? I mean for waifu status alone I know its worth, but gameplay wise is it?

Illya is an offensive caster while tamamo is support so of you like her character then just go for it

I like that she is an offensive caster. I think I probably will do a few rolls for her and save for other future servants. Thanks!

Lets first got out Waifu reasons>Gameplay reasons. Ok then,for her role in teams she's meant to be a burst damage caster, but suffers from 3 major drawbacks which are 1. She has 2 defensive skills 2. Suffers from the caster stats and damage multiplier 3. Can't buster brave chain even though her first skill and np itself both have buster ups. She does have higher burst damage than sanzang, but her np gain is significantly worse plus the demerit on her np. Overall I would rate her at around a 7.5/10, definitely not the worse 5 star, but falls short once break bars are introduced since she can't nuke opponents anymore in 1 turn, but will still have a place in dealing with non break bar high hp assassin bosses along with being a offensive caster that still has some elements of support such as her heal and guts.

Okay so besides her being adorable gameplay wise shes at best a decent servant. I actually had no idea she was meant as a burst caster thats interesting. I think I maybe will do a roll or two for her and not go too hard. Thanks for the input!

Legit all 5 stars are good servants, even og Seiba and thot queen. But some are definitely better

Level Tamamo first even if you are going to roll in illya and get lucky and get her. Illya's niche is as a dps that will primarily be used in fights against assassins but will be replaced by other better options in other fights. Tamamo though will be used in most if not all fights. There's a reason Tamamo is in the tier 2 for SSRs along with the other heavyweights in tier 2 and it isn't that fluffy tail.

Oh trust me good sir I planned on leveling up Tamamo up right away. I just wasn't sure if Illya was worth the roll if I already had Tamamo. I mainly want Illy since (pls fbi stay away) shes a cute loli.

I will say roll for her if u can spare the SQ..this game is also abt using the characters u like. Personally, even though I have a NP2 Tesla, I hardly used him, and atm even though my archuria is only lvl 70 (due to the lack of medals), I hv being using her almost every opportunity ever since I got her on day one.

All this people saying Illya's an offensive caster.
Take it from me, Illya's role is to be that cho-kawae loli in your party that shoots beams and throws her wand at enemies.
Should you roll for her? Everyone should roll for her. I have ONE quartz and ZERO tickets left atm and heck, I'M rolling for her.
