I heard that there is going to be an event which will require mostly female servants, well I lack in that department but I have Rider Martha, is she worth to level in broader respect apart from the event special merit? And what is this said event of female servants??
The event is Prisma illya event and as for Martha she's not that good on my opinion because she has a whole party heal which is pretty weak, but has could be used as a debuffer with all of her defense down skills. Still if you have servants that self stun like Tama cat, Jeanne, Fran and Tama lancer then she could be used, but other than that she's quite mediocre and is a rider support which would make you lose all your crit stars to her.
Martha is pretty good after her strengthenings. Her buff/debuff removal and defense debuff are extremely desirable for some challenge quests, and she'll get a respectable damage buff on her NP later on. I definitely recommend leveling her.
I assume the event being referenced is the Prism Causeway event, but I'm not super familiar with it.
I'd say no she does awful damage(attack stat is only just above high end 3*s), steals crit stars from servants who could actually use them, has abysmal hit counts - basically what I'm trying to say is she is only good in the specific situation you need a tanky option to remove debuffs from the party and buffs from the enemy and that very specific option does not come up very often.
I know you've said you hate Medea well Martha is basically the same thing except she does even less damage due to not being able to NP spam and having an AoE NP instead of single target.
Actually Medea's NP does AOE damage to only a single target. It was designed that way to stop her from being too OP given how easy her NP is to spam. She'll still do more damage than Martha though, assuming OP has her at higher NP levels. Just wanted to clarify that point.
I agree that her NP is very spammable but it deals almost the same damage at NP5 as a Buster Herc hit.
The only saving grace for Medea is her NP spammability but that does not justify her shit damage, poor survivability and completely self centred and lackluster skill set.
Yeah but Medea's has an interlude already while Martha won't for another year and a half, I could have been more clear about that though.
Haha you remember that but its not just Medea that I dislike its the whole caster class apart from Hans and in future maybe Skadi and Merlin.
But thanks for the insight bro, Martha and Fionn were my first pull servant but they are both locked at level since the time I have been playing, I invested in my 3 stars instead.
She's not really that great as others have said. That said, if she's your only female and you aren't willing/able to roll on the event banner (all rate-up servants are female), it's still worth levelling her. She has her uses and it'll be worth it if only to farm materials.

She is good at just being there. Her heals and utility are situational.
Her np gain is ridiculously good. If you do an arts brave chain with a crit or two she will have her np. She can use multiple nps in an arts team. She has def down on her np and skill (20%, 20% at 6).
Her normal dmg is very low and she draws up stars. You kind of need np2 on her to make some good use. Also her skills need leveling for any value.
Tldr: insane np gain good def down and utility / draws stars needs investment
