You cannot repeat strengthening quests.
The ability upgrades are like Bond Levels, it will apply to every copy of the servant even if you get another copy or burn them.

Repeating Strengthening quests?
So, this just occured to me; does anyone know what happens if we do a strenghtening quest for a servant, then burn that servant and summon him again; could we do the quest again?
I realize that it would cost a lot of QP and time to farm embers (and there is a good chance it doesn't work) but I wanted to know if someone can confirm one way or the other.
