Rama/Merlin or Lancelot/Tamamo

So I recently got lucky in the solomon gacha getting both merlin and lancelot. This made me wonder, which is better : Lancelot/Tamamo or Rama(NP3)/Merlin. I have invested quite heavily in tamamo (she's now 10/8/9). Merlin now stands at lvl 1 (2/-/-) (planning to raise him during new years super success x2). What saber/caster combo will be more valuable in the future, so that I can make the right investment?

saberlot + tamamo + waver.

it's consistent and can last long. can take any enemies on any class except archer. (tamamo np drain and heal plus waver's drain np on his np is a great stall while lancelot is critting the hell out of your enemies. also the np refund is great and waver can charge his np up to 50% than merlin's 20%. also there are def ups! )

it's just my opinion so take that with a grain of salt. i just hate using merlin.

but yea, your rama is np3 and double merlin is gonna be a thing.

tldr; use saberlot + tamamo+ waver for consistency.
use rama + merlin + whatever for buster memes.

both great either way, so it's up to your preference.

I do have the material to raise saberlot and raising merlin is a must, so bicorns -> rama, long fights -> tamamo/saberlot/waver? at least my waver is np3 (damn I love his def down)

long fights and consistency = saberlot/tamamo/waver + atlas mystic code.

lancelot can charge his np, produce stars, generate stars per turn, gather those stars up while increasing her crit dmg for a 3 WHOLE TURNS. tamamo can buff arts providing lancelot np damage as well as spamming it (NPAA). also draining enemies np, whole team heals and skill cooldown reduction. waver, well you already know what he can do. the atlas mystic code can clear debuffs and provides skill cooldown reduction preferably to waver so he can buff and charge lancelot for a series of never ending np.

as a master who have a grailed lvl.100 saberlot, those three have a great synergy, i assure you.

(also since you have those three great supports (tama/merlin/waver), if i were you i'll just run this team comp:

saberlot/tamamo/waver then switch waver or tamamo with merlin. his buff would be: 30% atkup + 50% critdmg + 50% arts + 20% atkup + 50% buster + 100% critdmg + 50% critdmg. yup im drooling r'now imagining that tasty crit numbers.)

damn, but adding merlin would only mean 1 turn burst crit. Too bad that I don't have any copy of 2030, but I guess that means leveling his 2nd skill. that damage to archer tho

I won't be putting merlin till I'm satisfied with his skill level (that's why I'm grinding now), don't worry I'm a c2p who only spend money for gssr.

i see. speaking of gssr, i saved money for it (some of my school allowance and scholarship). wanna roll caster badly for waver. but idk if it's worth it since i already have tamamo and tiddy monk. im satisfied with them at np1. i dont really know if it is worth the risk of having him. want him badly not only for his usage for farming, because im a fan of lord el-melloi II manga.

btw goodluck farming merlin mats. i rolled for him earlier but he refused my calls (rip 3months worth of saving). guess ill start saving again for CCC banner.

Merlin+Tamamo and Lancelot is better. Lancelot doesn't have the greatest tamamo sinergy ever since he can't stall NPs (no NP drain, no defensive utility), so Merlin with his invul+healing can protect the team from NP and Tamamo refreshes the cooldown.

Lancelot could have Black Grail for maximum meme. That is the comp that Appmedia recommends as Lancelot's best setup actually.

too bad that I don't own a copy of black grail but that setup looks interesting, I'll try that team comb when I get the chance (exp and mats grinding hell)
