Petal Farming

Don't know if this is a blasphemous question... but I'm newer to the game.

I started pretty recently, so I'm lacking a lot of EXP cards. Got a single SR at 90 and the rest are 60-70. I spent the past few days farming petals with the 50ish apples I had... but I ran out.

We're on the next new node and I wanted to know: would it be worth it to use some SQ to farm the nodes? I know quartz are really valuable, but I also realize that these lottery events are the most effective for farming these mats.

Advice would be appreciated :')

I think it also depends if u are F2P or P2P. If you are F2P, every SQ counts, so you may need to ask yourself if you want to save the SQ to roll for future servants u want or use it on servants u currently have.

If you are P2P, then I feel that its worth to use SQ especially if you are blessed with many servants waiting to be leveled. In any case, if you are already prepared to spend on the game, using SQ for farming is just another form of spending but for a different purpose.

I come from a game where it's perfectly normal to use your quartz for energy refreshes, since there is nothing comparable to apples there. So to me it doesn't sound particularly blasphemous.

Really it just depends on your current situation, as far as how badly you need new servants and CEs vs how badly you need more EXP cards and other resources. Summoning a bunch of new servants will give you an even bigger queue of projects that require EXP cards, materials, and QP, so I don't think there's any problem in taking a break from summoning and using your quartz to catch up the servants that you already have. But it's entirely up to your own judgement.

I will also agree with gemswiz that if you're p2p, it's even less of a problem to use quartz for refreshes, and is probably recommended. I really don't understand some of the whales that have multiple NP5 SSRs on their support lists, yet none of them at max level.
