Yeah after the 1st banner you can still farm part 1 nodes all part 2 does is unlock better nodes next to old ones.

Part 2 Summer Servants
I noticed that in this page's guide regarding the summer event, some servant recommendation belong to the part 2 banner, like Summer Martha and Archuria. Will it mean that part 2 banner is simultaneous to the part 1 banner or you can farm the first part of the event while the second part is ongoing?

The banners should also overlap unless they decide to change that for some reason.
