It doesn't matter except for the paid gacha which requires 30 paid quartz and guarantees a 5 star servant.

Paid and free quartz?
So I’ve been playing since the Rashomon event and I’ve bought quartz before. What I don’t understand is the free and paid quartz, does it being free or paid change the pulls you get? Why does it matter?
