I wouldn’t use apples right now with the Christmas event right around the corner. You can get gears from the Chicago node in the America chapter though you have to have completed every free mission there first to unlock it.
You can get pages from Hyde park in London. I’m not sure about the gears location but grabbing pages can be a little tedious. The drop rate isn’t terrible but it can take 4 tries to get one sometimes.
I know some upcoming events will have pages and most likely gears but it will be a little while though. Can’t get either material in the Christmas event unfortunately.

Moon festival rerun and guda guda rerun have pages in the shop.

Valentines and guda guda rerun have gears.

You can get 10 pages by unlocking Edward teach's interlude (1st ascension, bond lvl1) if you don't mind sacrificing 25lvls of exp and 4 rider pieces. Pirates in the interlude drop pages like there's no tomorrow.
