I’m a little(alot) salty that this guy spooked me on the Merlin banner but an SSR is still an SSR. My question is how good is he? Any recomended CE i should put on him? I also got spooked by Casgil. Do they have good synergy?
Lastly, I have a Euryale and I heard both of them are anti male? How good is Orion compared to Euryale? Thanks.

Lol good for you, those are actually some good rolls (not merlin, but good). Caster Gil is arts support, and Orion is arts damage, so yes, strong synergy. Orion's anti-male stuff is tied to her skill, while euryale's activates with her NP, so euryale is a bit more consistent with this. Orion is a lot tankier though. He's actually pretty good overall, and if summer Altria weren't a thing I'd say Orion's the best arts archer.

Formal Craft or any arts boosting CE works for Orion. NP gain boost like Divine Banquet works too.
I remember running Orion+Tamamo+ Waver during Onigashima. His (or her coz Artemis) NP drain is really helpful that Ibaraki didn't have the time to fire her NP. I kinda wanted to be spooked by Orion for my Greek servants collection, only if I rolled my desired servants first.
I feel euryale has better skills but orion has ssr stats. Also, she has a dodge so thats good. Give her a formal craft.
Orion is very good. Never used Euryale so I can't compare but just look at the Rarity. (Lol.) Anyway, he's all I used the whole Camelot Singularity with Tamamo and Waver. Never break a sweat until Arthuria Lancer considering I didn't know about their Gimmicks by then. 😅
For the CE, anything that boosts NP gain since his NP gain is Meh so A Fox Nights Dream, maybe to get stars as well. Another Ending and Formal Craft to boost Arts Effectiveness.
FGO game has choosen the Art path for you, congratz !
They've good synergies and Gil Caster is similiar Tamamo in terms of Art supp quality, Gilgamesh is one of the best Art supp on FGO.
Orion is basically a tougher Euryale and for the CEs there are a lot of options.
The difference is only in stat, Orion HP is higher and in terms of NP damage they're pretty much on equal level but Euryale NP deal a little higher damage.
Also Orion basic atk is so much higher, because he's a 5 star and SSR is worth to raise.
Both is very strong male Slayer !
Here's the list for the CE's :
- Holy Shroud of Magdalene for Def vs male + 25 % or Steel Training, use this if the battle is hard and tougher or you're doing a blind run, for safety.
- Guts CEs, one of the best pick for hard content and challenges.
- Divine Banquet for faster NP build.
- Formal Craft and Another Ending, a lazy pick, simple yet strong.
- Golden Sumo and HNS, the Gold CEs that also very useful to most DPS. Strong pick for non-specific or specific servant, very good CEs.
- Heavens feel, Black Grail, if you like high NP damage vs male or general use. Use this if you prefer one-shotting enemy male saber/zerker.
- Knights Dignity and Gem magecraft antumbra, if you have decent Art Crit supp and archer has embedded Crit star magnet.
- Art of Death, 25% bonus damage to humanoid. Strong pick vs male servants.
Craft Essence uses is based on the situation, none is better than the others. For example, if you run an Art Crit team with Hans/Waver and Gil Caster Gem Magecraft/Knights Dignity/HNS/Another Ending is one of the best CEs pick for Euryale/Orion.
Bonus :
you can destroy male servants by using Orion on the front and Euryale in the back, if something bad happens Euryale can be your 2nd DPS/Substitute for Orion.
Also, outside male killing job, Euryale and Orion is still good at general purpose.
Servant is like a tool for you and you're the brain that control them. Mostly, their performance is based by your skill as their pilot/master.
