So I've been saving for a while for 2019 Chadlea Boys' Collection so I can roll for Proto Arthur and Enkidu, however on the summer event I managed to pull Tama Lancer with a ticket and now Altera and NP2 Nero with some tickets as well. So I already have a ST Lancer and 2 AoE Sabers, and now I'm feeling conflicted and think I might want to roll on the pre-CCC event banner that has Nero Bride, Gil and I think Tamamo? My only Sabers are Altera and Nero, Archers are Kuro and Emiya and I have Blavatsky and Hans, so it's not like I'm in a bad position with any of those classes but still.
So, should I stick with my original idea and roll for servants that I really like or try a banner that seems more worth it in the end from a technical standpoint?
Gilgamesh may be one of best Archers in the game, but you could always level Robin Hood or Euryale if you want a damage-dealer for Archers. The 3 star Archers are all pretty great. And you mention having Kuro and EMIYA; both are sufficient to replace Gil; Kuro takes care of the bosses while EMIYA will be your wave-clearer/farmer.
I would say once you have your gameplay aspects covered, then just roll for your waifus or husbando. Key thing to enjoy this game is to use the servants you like in my opinion.
Bronze and silver servants are enough from a technical standpoint. Grab a support Merlin and you're set for life.
Roll for the servants you like.
