i managed to get all her ascend mats and just need some xp cards to have her maxed on that front, but i was barely sraping by on the later parts of the event so far and i see the rest to come is rate "EX". is that something you can overcome with just friend support lol?
Judicious use of command seals were lifesavers when I was new, besides excellent support. Being able to bring back all 6 servants with full health and NP charge can get you through most any battle. Which is why they are limited to one a day, but in a pinch you can use SQ when the seals haven't replenished.
i suppose if neccesary its well worth the quarts to make sure chloe is maxed before the event runs out.
My best advice is just come prepared to every fight. Look up each battle that you will be going up before hand online and take some time to prepare for the harder waves (Usually wave 3). Counter classing, banking NP's and Buffs. A MLB Ruby or Sapphire CE will take you far.
I second the MLB suggestion. I was using a MLB Ruby CE'd lancer while fighting Chloe, and it was pretty crazy how easy it made the fight. The hardest part was having to spam the update button on my support list until that person came up, every time. Regular non-crit buster hits were like 150k+ damage.
