New Feature in My Room - Sound Tracks

Just as a discussion, I have just noticed now that they have included a new feature in my room for sound tracks. What puzzles me are that some of these tracks request materials to unlock them. I mean generally we all struggle to obtain enough materials for our servants, is it a really good implementation to ask us to use materials this way?
Most people will most likely left it as it is, and I would think even whales will struggle to unlock these tracks.

No, it's not a good way to ask to spend materials in a non-gameplay mechanic.

But then it's not mandatory either so I don't see the problem.

If you like a soundtrack, 15 bones or 10 crystals isn't much of a hastle.
If people are completionists and want to spend their mats on them just for bragging rights, then by all means.

Nobody is forcing anyone to buy them. Sound tracks are pretty much cosmetics, same with the future implementation of Costume Dress; Lots of rare mats for new servant sprites.

Well, I know it's not mandatory, but even DW themself (which shows in the learning with Manga) knows the material are hard to come by and really precious.
That's why I thought it was strange for them to have it setup this way, and As I said, I would suspect, majority of the players will leave it and ignore it which made this feature a bit redundant

Think about it like this:
This feature is just for the 1%. Those who farm their asses off... Like a reward feature, an achievement/trophy box. It's supposed to be expensive.

It's not exactly for the masses. But for those who 100% the shops or have been loyal to the game for a long time, they have this little corner of their Room.

Well if they put KnK soundtrack I might want to unlock it.

I've got way more pieces and monuments than I can possibly use as a F2P, so I went ahead and bought the ones those unlocked just for kicks. Probably won't buy much of the rest.
