Need advice for Lucky Bag...

I didn't play for so long ( since September) so I wanted to choose the right servant for Lucky bag.

Luckly I managed to get Merlin today. I bought the big SQ pack to get him. I got him with 90 SQ, I was really happy about that. I wanted to use the rest of the paid SQ for the Lucky bag new Years Summoning Banner. But I don't know which class I should choose, at first I wanted to choose Caster but now I got Merlin, so I don't need to choose the Caster class.
BTW. I got no SSR rider, but I scared of getting Queen Medb.

In my opinion, the Rider is still your best shot. As you said, you still don't have an SSR Rider but being afraid of Medb isn't a good enough excuse when the rider banner has the highest quality of SSR servants. Your chances of getting a good 5* Rider are 75% and Medb isn't even that bad as she gets 3 different upgrades later on which greatly enhance her utility. Also given the fact that you rolled Merlin and have Ishtar, the obvious solution is still Rider as they are all Buster-based and all act at least decent as crit-damage dealer on top of their high star weight. This is especially true due to you seemingly not having Kintoki (Rider).
However, the choice is still yours in the end. Roll for your favourite servants if you want, but, Rider is the best choice period in terms of gameplay.

Basically this. Though if you really are too scared of rolling rider, you could roll berserker alternatively, having a chance to get chu alter (arguably the best zerker in the game, sharing the role with mama raikou) or Vlad (which would compliment your existing servants as well, since you have quite some servants for an arts setup already). Of course you could also get another Nightingale, but if you wanted to avoid dupes, you'd have to go for rider anyways.

TL;DR: Berserker or Rider would make the most sense gameplaywise, in the end it's up to personal preference though, since the game is about playing with servants you like.

Thank you all so much... I think I going with Rider then. Yes, sadly I missed Kintoki because I just started this September... So I will be fine with Rider, I didn't even know That Queen Medb getting upgrads..
