Hey, I was wondering which class I should go for. Can you guys help me? Right now, I have:
SSRS: Nero Bride, Gilgamesh (Archer), Ozy, Merlin, Vlad.
SRS: Rama, Nero, Emiya (both), Martha (Rider), Marie, Nitrocris, Edison, Carmilla, Tamamo Cat, and Herc.
This excludes event servants like Kintoki Rider. Even if they’re OP.
You've got an SSR Saber, Archer, Rider, Caster and Berserker. So, this is a no brainer, it's between Lancer and Assassin/Extra. Assassin and Extra have a 50/50 chance between lolicon Jack's epic ST NP and Jeanne's ... tanky thing she does..., whereas Lancer has a 33/33/33 chance between Enkidu's ST NP and Lartoria and Karna's AoE NP. So, down to preference, but good options nonetheless, I'd lean towards lancers.
But what about the 66% chance to get Zhuge Liang or Tamamo Caster? I’m planning on saving for Ereshkigal next year.
I personally think you should go caster. Even if you have Merlin, Waver works faster. Tamamo is also worth having, and Xuanzang is arguably the best in her niche. Since you don't have all three, it's probably the safest bet (if you don't really want Jeanne). Otherwise, assassin/extra is the best.
Waver works well with all your servants, Tamamo works great with Nero bride and vlad as a trio. They'd provide different options but Merlin basically makes buster-crit the meta for at least the next two years as the strongest strategy.
Your chances of getting Waver and Tamamo will never be this good again and Sanzang gets a bad rep but honestly she's good, just not excellent like Waver or great like Tamamo.
The lancers can all work with Merlin, lanctoria just lacking any decent c star skill or drop chance, and Enkidu with his 1 buster card and buster NP making it not quite ideal but Karna and lanctoria especially look like they have plenty of rate up banners in 2019 if you do decide you want a 5 star lancer sooner than in a year. Waver didn't look like he had that many banners.
Weaver's only rate up from now to where JP is will be next year's chaldea boys (shared with proto Arthur) and the going west rerun in 2020.
Its a no brainer really. You don't have Waver or Tamamo; this is a fantastic chance to get them. Roll Casters.
