When he first came out I had fun with the novelty of class change so I started leveling, but I don't use him at all anymore. As an assassin his attacks are weak, as a berserker he's incredibly fragile. And one time use of the np; once he is Hyde there is no np

Jekyll is fun, but weird, and yes you should basically think of him as a berserker rather than an assassin.

He's really more of a "fun to have" servant rather than filling any particular role on a team. If you give him a NP starting gauge CE then pair him with Shakespeare or Waver to top him out, then you can throw out a pretty decent berserker on turn 1. Aside from being a generic berserker though, he doesn't bring anything unique to the table.

Only use him vs riders. Also, try to save your np for thelast possible moment. You need to invest in his skills and have star gen, which should be easy in a team full of assassins.
