Another Merlin would be a good support.

If you really want to be sure to make use of Merlins crit buff then perhaps Mozart?
His third skill gives up to 50 stars per use but he is less useful if the enemy survives.

Another suggestion is Hans paired with a 2030. lots of stars plus a longer crit buff.

Jalter will get more out of her kit if you run another Merlin, yeah.

But if you're set on the crit route, then yeah, Jack, or maybe a caster with a fragment of 2030.

Double Merlin, Press his 3rd skill+first skill and your enemy is done.

Sry, joke aside lol.

Here's some list :

- Hans + Merlin + Jalter, great Buster Crit team with a more consistent Crit. Especially if Hans and Merlin Equipped with 2030, also good Hp regen.
- Waver + Merlin + Jalter, is like Merlin + Merlin + Jalter just a meme team comps.
- Caesar + Merlin + Jalter, focused Buster Crit + general damage i would say this is very powerful. Add more Merlin or Waver for more broken over 9000 level Buster Crit + NP damage.

If you have Hans and Caesar with 2030, they're a great teammate for Jalter. Caesar pack a punch ( NP Up + Atk Up + Crit Up + Crit star gen up ) and Hans is just one of the best Crit supp ( Crit Up + Crit star + strong RNG NP buff ).

Mind you Caesar Ox Demon King = NP Up + Crit Up + Crit star gen up + Buster up, a complete package for Jalter or DPS in general !

My best team mate pick, borrow Hans 2030/Merlin 2030 + your Merlin + Jalter + Caesar, Leo for taking damages + your Hans/backup DPS + Anchor/another supp/utility tank.

I don't have Jalter not Merlin but i can borrow them, here's one of my OTK team comps.
Gilgamesh ( Golden Sumo/HNS ) + Merlin 2030 + Hans 2030 + Caesar ( Ox Demon King /Golden Carp ) / Mozart Of Demon King + Helena/Leonidas/Backup DPS + Heracles/OG Nero/OG Chu.

Post reads way too much like a humblebrag, but whatever. Active stargen is way too unreliable for the most part, passive stargen is what makes Buster crit OP. Just pick a 2nd merlin with a 2030, and equip one on yours too.
