Personally, I would advise you to save up for Memelin (Merlin) whose event banner will launch around December 2018. He's a very strong support character that can fill up the holes of your team. You need buster attack ups? Crit stars? Heals? NP gauge increase? Invulnerability? He has them all. He's absolutely game-breaking.

I highlighted the last one because Merlin is the best unit to get for the purpose of gameplay, reason being he fits into pretty much any team and makes them better. Also, having him in your support slot (with high-levelled skills) will get you a lot of friend points.

A couple limited servants that are good are : Memelin for buster memes, King Hassan for more buster memes, Gil for more and more buster memes, and Musashi for even MORE buster memes.

I think it's because the drop rate isn't too high. Usually when it's on event, the drop rate of *5 would be 0.700% but this time, it's only 0.33%... The percentage is too low I think.
I myself already used 63 sq and 10 summon ticket and only got *3. All of them. Maybe I spent not as much as you, but please cheer up okay? I wish you got some good *5 on next event! 😊

I don't think it's necessarily *naive* to roll on random banners. It helps you farm the events better when you get event CEs. Plus, in your case, where you apparently haven't gotten any gold servants at all, you'd benefit from pretty much whatever you get. You don't need any specific servant to be successful at this game, so saving up for a specific servant isn't a necessity. Plus, there are plenty of people who save up for a long time, and then still fail to get the servant that they were saving for. That can hit you pretty hard psychologically. There are also people who save up for a long time and wind up getting the servant they were saving for after like 2 rolls. The latter scenario is less salt inducing, but it still results in the saving having been pointless, and a lot of missed opportunities due to having abstained from rolling on other cool stuff along the way.

I'm not saying not to save, I'm just saying that you're being too hard on yourself when you say that you messed up. It's perfectly valid to use your quartz as you get them, and some people (though a minority) actually prefer it that way.
