I`ve benn saving SQ for three months, since i begin playing, all for this summer event, I really want tamamo lancer, I have 420 SQ I think thats enough but i dont have any experience summoning, taht should be enouhg or will be pushed to buy SQ?
https://shipfu.moe/fgo/ is a useful tool for finding out your chances. At the amount of quartz you have right now its around %62 chance to roll her, but you could possibly get her in one roll if you're lucky.

Aniplex has no control over the rates, Delight Works does.
And DW will never improve the rates since gacha will be gacha.
It's all RNG. You can get a 5* for as low as 3 SQ, or be really unlucky and get no 5*s with 2000 SQ. There is no guarantee in the gacha besides from the 4* or above card from a 10 roll.
That's what makes the gacha fun. It is gambling and that's exactly what gambling odds should be like. It makes it that much more rewarding when you get any 5 star.
The way the gacha works you may actually end up getting 5 sthenos. Still worth it to roll because that scenario is actually very unlikely and because it's the only way you'll even have a chance at servants you'd want.
There have been 2 instances to date when spent 400+ quartz each banner, and failed to get the rate-up 5*.
On the other hands, the 5* that I do have come from tickets or after 1-2 mass summon. Pray for luck.
