I just farm and ce's usually eventually drop. There's no point in maxing it during the event unless you end up with 6 of them imo. Unless you're wanting to run other ce's and don't care about having a ce on every support.

The best way is to play the event normally and worry about that the last days if you don't have it yet.

And even then, next year you can Max Limitbreak it...The CE is good but it's not worth losing your sanity.

The higher ap nodes typically have a higher drop rate which gives the CE a lower AP/D than the novice level, though it can still drop from the novice level

Just farm it with natural AP, dont waste your apples unless you really want that jeanne CE.
Luckily i get if from 30AP farming.
