Yeah, the 30 AP free quest is the one where you can drop Halloween Princess
However, there's only 0,80% (not even 1%!) chance to drop it so you're not the only one who has problems with dropping it. It took me only 6 golden apples to do that, but my friend spent over 17 and still didn't get it ;D
But!
Party quests (the ones that give you golden apples as a reward) have 1% chance to drop - 0,2% bigger than free quests so you should focus them even more than Vlad.
