Yo, Is Grailing J'Alter a viable option? I have seen a lot of comments before saying her viability will begin to drop off with the introduction of break-bars.
I have been stock piling Grails but with the X2 Success Rate and half QP farming node I am very tempted to blow five Grails on her. Waifu wise she would not be my number one but, she would be towards the top of the list alright.
Also how many Grails are we likely to get in 2019 and 2020 based off JP?

I grail for game play, either to make a useful player more useful or a favorite one usable, and jalter really doesn't need the help.
Break bars will stop us from clearing bosses in a single shot, so there is less utility in grailing servants that already have high st np since the extra damage is treated like overkill for each bar cleared.
But since the game can be played without grails or 5* servants, so if you really want buff jalter, go ahead
Grailing any 5* from 90 to 100 is not technically efficient way of powering them up, but rather a statement of love. Because of the huge amount of QP you'd be dumping into those 5 grails combined with burning exp, it's not necessarily cost effective.
If we are solely talking about gameplay, getting lower rarity servants with a solid kit up to 90 would be a wildly better usage for grails.
Jalter is still good, even in JP. Don't easily buy in to game theories and metas in this game. People, especially in NA servers community, tend to exaggerate and fetishize whatever is popular and make it way out of proportion. Break bars can potentially limit potentials of big nuke turns, but I've never heard of anyone who just can't clear at all with the introduction of it.

Go grail your number one waifu then. Jalter aren't your number one so give 5 of the grails to your MOST favorite servant first.
Then you can Grail Jalter later, number one get's the top priority first. Be consistent.
You are right about break bars nerfing Jalter, so grails are really unnecessary on her. Might be better to grail an AOE DPS like Dantes or Gilgamesh.
