First to max level?

So I've been playing fgo for a month now and I really what to know which sevant to level up first and recommend some ce for them thanks.
Saber: d'eon
Archer: emiya or arash
Lancer: cu or cu proto
Rider: saint martha
Caster: medea or elizabeth Halloween
Assassin: carmila or kojiro
Berserker: herc

Really though, depends where you are in story. Kojiro is good for getting through Orleans.

Otherwise, I'd say start with Cú. His survival ability will carry you through much of the game's content.

For CEs, you'll have to list the ones you have.

Verdant sound of destruction is good for Herc, if you want to farm, Arash with imaginary element is good, carmilla/kojirou/emiya with be elegant or knight's dignity is okay, and projection goes well with Medea.

I second cu. Use his skills right and he will stick around for ever. Cu proto is good too, but I prefer the extra survival skill on cu over proto's wild beast buff.

Herc is amazing too. Besides max level, focus on getting him max bond level too. The lvl 10 CE gives 3 stacks of guts beyond his skills. This means that you need to have him in every party for months to achieve (I'm just getting mine to lvl 9 soon).

Besides that, focus on at least one strong servant in each class.

Arash is good for farming, but emiya is better for most content because his np doesn't kill him and has much higher stats (and just got two skill upgrades). David and Robin hood are good st np 3*s to level.

I'm not fond of Martha rider, her np is wimpy for a buster. Medusa and Alex are good 3*s for AoE, and ushiwaraku is good for st np.

Medea and Halloween liz are both great. Medea is better at np spamming, while liz gives better damage with command cards with her buster orientation.

I don't know about carmila, but we I was new kojirou was my favorite assassin. Gave him a grail to improve his stats while waiting for a sr or ssr to finally come my way.

I don't know d'eon. When you finish camelot bedever is a good saber. I hear good things about Cesar, but I couldn't bring myself to use that less than appealing character. Fergus isn't bad for a 3* AoE saber.

I would highly recommend medea as assassin bosses have a 3 turn np gauge so they must be taken out asap.
Kojirou is good, but carmilla is (when maxed) better due to her stats and np gain. Holy shroud, divine banquet, be elegant are good ce.
Deon is good for tanking especially with herc. However, an offensive saber such as liz brave we get soon might be better

Herc and Cu are gonna be staples. They are both excellent. Herc especially, imo you should use him as often as possible to get him to bond 10 for his bond CE. It's pretty much the best one and gives him near-cu levels of durability and it's pretty much the main factor into why he's seen as one of the best SR servants in the game.
