As a F2P player, should I save quartz for the Thanskgiving Event or for future events?

As a f2p, save all your SQ for the one and only Flower Boy Wizard...

Believe me, save your precious quartz on merlin. He'll never betray your expectations on him.
His skill and ability are really good, he makes useless servant being very usable

Most bang for your quartz servant is merlin. Having him on your support list guarantee's you any kind of dmg support. And there are a lot of dmg oriented 4 stars and 3 stars you can roll. Especially if you do the welfare events. Next would probably be zerks like raikou and someone like jalter since they mesh reasonably well with hans and mash who are F2P.

Honestly though just roll for who you think looks cool and fun to use.

If you truly want to beat FGO with easy mode, focus only to Merlin.
Still, i would suggest to cover ST and AOE roles first.
He is broken.

As f2p myself i dont really recommend saving all your quartz just for single servant, while yes saving alot of quartz increase the chance of you getting your desire servant but that chance is still pretty low, i think is better to spread all your quartz in other banner and hope you get lucky

this.
Just roll your quartz when you see a servant that you like, you might get lucky and get a more diverse team.
I really love Scathach so I hoarded all the quartz and tickets I could for months. I had around 350 quartz and 55 tickets last time. Of course being the rates what they are I failed to get her or any other 5*.
That failure hit me so hard that I almost dropped the game...after that I promised myself never to hoard again.
It is better for your mental health not to hoard, unless you are absolutely sure you can take the disappointment.

I would agree here as well, and this is almost exactly my personal method. I throw 10-20 tix/single pulls at a banner I think I could use something from. If I get it, awesome, if I dont, NBD. Its actually paid off a lot better for me than youd think given all the rate nightmares you read about, but in the end roll for who you like. I had prepared to break my own rule for Jack but ended up getting her in 10 tickets anyway.

A little late to save for Thanksgiving.

The best advice i can give is to save for your favorites. If you like Merlin, roll for him but if you don't like him YOU DON'T NEED MERLIN...Heck i would even say that if you enjoy strategizing and clearing hard content while having fun at it, you should avoid Merlin all together.
