EMIYA assassin or Carmilla?

I would do emiya assassin bc I like his skills

EDIT: also don't give the tier lists too much attention bc the meta is always changing, also if you have good supports all weaknesses can be fixed

I would definitely go with Emiya personally. Carmilla I find is really only useful for her NPs niche of dealing extra damage to females. Emiya can generate a lot more stars as Carmilla’s Hit counts a just SO low. Because of that her crits don’t hit as hard either.

Carmilla has some decent defensive/stall skills but Emiya has a better kit. A high Arts damage boost to help his NPs damage and a 3 turn Crit damage boost are nice skills. Also, Carmilla’s skills reduce an enemies NP gauge and she can lower the enemy Crit rate...both of which are added effects on Emiya’s NP.

Scapegoat is also a useful skill in the right situations.

Basically everything said above. Bear in mind also that Kiritsugu will be receiving an NP buff that gives him defense pierce. Overall, he has a bit more utility than Carmilla, but Carmilla is a bit better in the damage department.

If you want to use your NP frequently you should go for Carmilla because charging Emiya's NP is a pain in the ass, while Carmilla is almost OP in this regard.
I totally prefer Kiritsugu as a character but his NP gain is his biggest weakness imo.

Kiritsugu has better animation, give me a sub gun over the bloody iron maiden any day.
