Well, from what I understood, a new quest is unlocked each day and the reward is a summoning ticket for the six first ones and a Crystallized Lore for the final quest. You will get also guaranteed drops from enemies in each quest like Evil Bones, Void's Dust, Hearts...
So it is not a grinding event but a challenge one where you need max ascended servants and a good team composition.
