is E rank luck common

Just curious, is it common not to have a single ssr after playing for like 2 to 3 months.Currently only have 4 sr servants and bunch of silver servants.

Yup think so...it's not really rare specially with these gacha games. Heard some people in some forums that they don't even have a single SSR for a year of playing and even showed their spirit origin list just to prove it...
Well that's probably why FGO players are called salt miners...

if I not mistaken, there is a JP player who doesn't get a single SSR Servant after playing a year, I think he is f2p

Yes it is. You will only need patience and one day they will come. It took me almost 6 months after playing the game since launch to get mine which is Altria Saber on a single ticket summon. Then they keep on coming after that. Now I have Orion, Tamamo, Jack, Cu Alter, Shuten and recently Tamamo Lancer as well. I'm also F2P, just spend a bit on the guaranteed summon anniversary. Just save your quartz on the servants you want then continue to roll for them. This is all about luck if you don't feel like spending.

Gatcha rates are quite low so yes - 10% of players won't have a SSR after 225 rolls.

You're probably pulling the gacha wrong.
The thing with fgo gacha is that it is determined by seeds, and good seeds give you good rolls and bad seeds give you bad rolls.

My hunch is that you're just saving up all of your quartz and using them all at once, without checking to see if you have a good seed or not. An easy way to check is to roll 10x a few times on the friend summon. The odds of rolling a 3* servant on friend summon is the same as rolling a 5* servant on quartz summon. If you pull a 3* servant, it means you have a pretty good seed

Once you pull a 3* servant out of the friend support, immediately dump 30 quartz on saint quartz roll. I've gotten a 4* servant almost every time i've done this. the last time I did this, I got 2 tamamo lancers on one 10x pull.

Even if you get unlucky and pull nothing, just repeat the process about 2-3 times and you're almost guaranteed to pull a 4* or better

Um, no offense, okay? Just saying my opinion. I think this is more of a placebo affect since if it really does increase the rate then was there any reason to put the chance to pull anyway? I think it's bad for business if they do that, but...still OP is free to try. Just saying the logical opinion here.

Just remember this is just some placebo effect considering a friend of mine tried it tons of times and got shit everytime.

My response is that no computer system can ever be truly random. The results that seem random are all due to calculations that are made by the system based on inputs. These inputs are seeds, and most, if not all, programs that use a factor of randomness use these seeds to determine the "random" results.
There is lots of proof of this online that you can find with other "random" systems, but I'm going to tell you about the seeds in pokemon. If you input your time, trainer code, region, and the pokemon you want into a special website online, it can tell you the exact time and location you need to be at to get the shiny of that pokemon. It's hard to do because the time and location have to be super exact, but it works 100% of the time if you do it correctly, and it's not hacking because you're not using the program to alter the game in any way, just moving your character exactly as the program tells you to

Obviously getting a good seed doesn't guarantee 4* or 5* servants because people haven't decoded the gacha in fgo like in pokemon, but it drastically improves the chances of pulling them

Also, I don't think you understand what a placebo is. A placebo is when you think something is going to work, so it actually works solely because you believe in it. Although I disagree with you, the term you should be using is anecdotal evidence or just me being lucky. However, if you say that mine is just anecdotal evidence, I can say the same about your friend here. Don't go trying to correct people using scientific terms if you don't know what they mean.

It's random, you can't pull the gacha right or wrong. I recommend this video series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3Fec5PwZfg

I am doing this one with a couple of some incantations (repeating the name of the servant you wanted on the gatcha on rapid successions.) And most of the time, it works. It happened when I blew 180 quartz (I'm F2P) on the Jalter Banner and ended up miserable. Experimented on the Rashomon Event with this thing and it worked when I summoned Shuten on just 1 roll after more than 10 fp rolls. Then I did the same thing on Mama Raikou but got Tamamo Caster instead. Then Ozy on just 1 roll after the Camelot Release and just recently Tamamo Lancer as well after spending 69 quartz angld blowing all the tickets free on the event. Just try this one, you can always get those FP anyway but the chances, no way.

Well i've been playing the game since it launched and i got two 5 ssr in the first couple of weeks i think the first one was altera and Jeanne d'Arc shorlty after and at that time i couldn't be more happier but you know what ? I haven't seen a single 5 ssr after that week till this day. It's been more than a year now since i got my last ssr so i don't know if it's just my luck or it's a common thing

No, but people with average Luck don't tend to talk about It and we only see the really bad ir really good ones.
It also depends on what you call E rank Luck and How much you've rolled in this time

Lol. 2 to 3 months. HAHAHA. You need to have more patience my friend!

I wish I could post my servants from one month ago here. Well let someone with more salt experience share the story. I wait for 3+ months to get my first SSR. At 110 days, around Onigashima event, I almost quit this fking game. My friend got 10 SSR (he is F2P, same as me) from playing since release, logically (or should I say, dumb mathematics, assuming I have same luck as my friend) I should already got my first or second SSR, but nope. In fact, I also need three months to get new SR servants, thank God I got 4 SR within the first day playing this game. So, after the first day, I only have 4 SR, and within the next 100 days my new SR servant is only Lancelot Berserker.

Then the miracle happen at Onigashima. I have 90 SQ, with a little bit of prayer, and some dirty words I said : fuck this, bye Fate Grand Order and spend my Quartz there... BOOM I got Mama Raikou.

One week after Onigashima end, at first Camelot Rate-Up, I got Ozy in my first 10x pulls.

After anniversary, at second Camelot Rate-Up, I got spooked by Orion from my first 1x pulls

Then now in Summer banner, I got spooked again with Arjuna.

I also decided to buy GSSR because I love this game and want to support the dev, I got queen medb.

Outside of GSSR, I am a complete F2P. I ain't gonna use real money for something with no guarantee, beside I am a student and I need money for more important stuffs, so you don't need to worry for me being lying , I guarantee you I am F2P. No money spend , except the game guarantee me a SSR.

So, it's all about luck. I got 4 SSR within one month. Maybe you will get 5 SSR or maybe 10 within one week, but then you won't have a single one for a whole year. Maybe you will get one each month. It's a matter of luck, and you WILL get it regardless of your luck rank. It's kinda bs for me, unless you are cursed. Which is unlikely.

Good luck for you and your rolls my friend. Maybe you will get one soon, because I got Raikou after complaining to my friends how I suck at this game.

If you talk of E-rank luck then you are still lucky cause I just rolled for TamaLancer 1170 sq and no SSR. No TamaLancer no nothing. That is my luck right now.

F

RIP friend. I hope that "no nothing" is just salt talking and you didn't literally get nothing worthwhile, otherwise that is actually tragic. Better luck next time.

How much have you been rolling? Have you been using tickets? Quartz? Both? I imagine it'd be less than reasonable to expect a 5* servant more than once or twice for every 300 quartz spent. Of course, there are many exceptions to this, some people roll multiple 5 stars in one 10-roll, while others may roll 1000+ quartz and still not see a single 5 star. With just 1 person's rolls, the sample size is much too small to tend toward the average 1%.

Very common, gacha hell meme is a thing for a reason.

I recomend to use tickets first, as they are easier to regain, unlike F2P quarts (I am assuming you're F2P, like me).

That's a little trivia (since it's all about RNG and personal luck), but my luck with tickets is immensely better than with quarts, Almost everything I got who is gold is from tickets: Kiritsugu (my very first ticket, in the first week of gaming), the second Anne & Mary to NP2, Li Shuwen (Xuangzang banner)...also 2 of my 3 of 5*s are from tickets (Lancuria and Tamamo Summer).

Yeah. I've only ever owned 4sr servants and 2 of them were welfares.

It gets harder to be in gacha hell when my brother constantly flexes with his 1 ticket Merlin
