D'eon or George?

Who is the better tank in your opinion?

Update: I have both at max ascension. Wondering whose skills to prioritize

Both are good in certain aspects, class advantages will be a big factor in which one you use. However, I think that D'eon is slightly better due to him(her? It?) having an evade and a debuff clease/heal. Georges is also good because of having a useable NP(seriously tho, D'eons NP is trash what the hell DW), which comes in handy in some situations

D'Eon is one of the best taunter (Taunt + Evade + Heal/debuff removal) in NA but he/she needs to be ascended 3 times to access his/her taunt. And as a gold servant, he/she costs more than Georgios/Mash.

In this event, I would still prefer Mash over Georgios as she can survive Ibaraki's NP and she costs 0.

George hands down.

Well, you see, both has different ways of tanking. Georgios is what you expect of a traditional tank in MMO, he has aggro control that tied with an insane def buff, self heal for sustainability, guts for even more sustainability, and his NP gives him further def up. He can also give you more field control if you know what you are doing. Lack of evade or invuln really doesn't matter with him as even berserkers would deal 0 damage to him if you buff him a bit more, he has like a total of 60-80% def up, lol.

D'eon works differently. If George buffs himself with insane def buffs loop, D'eon tanks with his NP debuffs. At high level NP, his debuffs become very useful and can actually hurts your enemies' attacks, especially when you can spam the hell out of his NP to debuff your enemy through oblivion. Though, of course you need high enough NP level to make him useful, at least NP 3 is needed for this. His skillset is pretty decent, 1st skill is nice defense kit, 2nd skill is strong against heavy ST debuffers, 3rd skill is nice 3 turns taunt with heals, though, personally I found his heal on taunt is a bit problematic when you want him dead.

Pretty sure George is like the best tank you'll ever get. People would argue Mashu is better, but kohai is leaning toward support more than tanking, especially post Camelot.

Thanks for the response so far guys.
I have both at max ascension actually, so it comes to a question whose skills I should invest in.

If it's skill, I'd say George. His whole idea depends on his skillset. D'eon is pretty much fine as long as he can fire his NP constantly. This doesn't mean you shouldn't invest on D'eon though, his priority is just a bit lower.
