I just started Fgo a month ago and have finished Okeanos. So, after this halloween event i’ll rush to Camelot and i want to know if it was harder or easier compared to the highest difficulty of this event.
Much, Much harder.
~ I just flailed through the entire event, barely ever paying much attention. Camelot can prove to be a bit rough in a few of the bigger / longer fights toward the end and might need the use of command seals.

Pretty much was Nyssa said. The difficulty comes in preparation and foreknowledge similar to how we had to deal with nerofest. That and some of those guys hit like a truck.
Coz same as Nero fest the round table knight there have special buff like Gawain he possess ridiculous def with a tendency to spam NP or Tristan lancer is not effective against him instead use a saber but he deal 1.5x dmge to all class (i guess except ruler). Easiest is Lancelot coz he have attribute of a ruler so just bring Jalter.
Gotcha, but I mean, is Camelot harder than Nerofest? About the same? Easier?
Actually, story is not hard since you can finish them in any time, means using commend seal is in fact a accessible way, you just need to wait your 3 commend seals to re-spawn. Also, your friends' supports may equipped more appropriate CEs, rather than stupid event CEs (for instance I cannot find any 2030 Waver in my friend list right now, then I cannot easily apply Buster Critical team in this event)
Whether this event is hard or not just depending on if you have capable servants and appropriate mystic code. For instance, besides of Waver; Nito, Cu Alter/Herc and other Berserkers even Vlad and Banana, Jack/Okita etc are quite shinning in this event. For mystic code, Blonde anniversary is still great thus far.
As for New player without such servants, 40 ap highest difficult Demon king free quests are more or less issue for them. Also because of framing purpose, you cannot use commend seals frequently like in story.
Overall, Camelot is harder, but only few specific boss fight then you can apply command seals, and your friends are equipping good CEs after this event. Demon king free quest are slightly less difficult, but because most your friends are equipping event CE, and command seals are finite, then not easy for New players. You have to rely on bonus equips like Hero's Sword (also not infinite).
i'll recommend to you to just farm embers or materials for level up and wait for babylonia. itt has guaranteed 1/2 ap for story. at least you will have decent level servants before challenging camelot. Mind you i finish camelot with lvl 60-80 servants. you just need a strong friends and wiki
Demon King? Psh, he's nothing, beat him easily. Camelot on the other hand, haha, needed my arts stall team and a max herc/cu alter in the back just in case and I still barely scraped by. Sphinxes are jerks. The Knights of the Round Table are jerks. Camelot as a whole is a big f you in difficulty
demon king hardest fight is pretty much on the same level of a non boss fight in camelot. more or less.
