Crit Star Generators

I rolled Jalter in the last event (HALLELUJAH), I have Waver already and I’m doing pretty good at the moment, though I’m f2p and only started a month and a half ago and those two plus Orion are my only 5*s. One of the few things I’m seriously lacking and want to plan for in future is crit Star generation.

I don’t have Jack, but my Hans and CAH are both relatively strong at the moment. Is there a crit Star generator available now besides those three that I should be looking for?

As far as future available servants, are there any welfare servants who are great Star batteries? Irisviel? Ridertoki? Swimsuit Scathach? Chloe? Someone else?

And again on future available servants, I’ve been told to look out for Ozzy, Saberlot, Tamalancer, Memelin, and Mama Raikou for servants from this year. Any thoughts on that list? Particular additions? Servants there that people would recommend against? Should I just sit back and save for Memelin and hope to get a 2030 at some point?

To be honest, the best crit star generation is 2030, mostly because you don't need to spend a turn farming stars to use them next turn.

Scathsassin will have decent generation simply because that's a mark of the assassin class, crit star generation. You want to look for anything with 2 or more Quick cards, which is why Saberlot and Tamalancer will both be good.

Ozy is definitely an excellent servant, but if there's one warning I'll give, using Jeanne Alter and a Rider in the same team is dangerous. Rider's are, in short, crit star hogs, and so unless you produce enough crit stars for your entire party in one turn (which is hard today without a Jack or an Okita and Okita wont be available again until the Guda Guda rerun), nobody will ever see those crit stars except for your rider, especially J'Alter because her gather rate is naturally extremely low (that the price for her crits themselves being so good).

There are definitely still some decent 4* crit star generators. If you joined in time to get Shiki she's not bad at all. Lancturia Alter is pretty good too. In addition, Lanturia (alter and regular) is a dragon, which means J'Alter super powers them up. This also applies to Elizabeth, who also has 2 quick cards and some crit generation, but you really shouldn't rely on her alone because its not as great.

I do actually have Lalter, so thank you for that advice, I can definitely make use of her with the Zero event coming up since I can finally get some Dragon Scales to finish ascending her with. The advice about Ozzy is really good too, as I didn’t realize that Jalter didn’t play well with Riders despite her crit Star Absorption Skill, which lowers him on my priority list. I don’t have Shiki (missed that by about a month and a half), which is really unfortunate because I loved Kara no Kyoukai. Should I stick to CAH and Hans for star generators in general for now and hope to get a 2030 as I budget out rolls for Raikou, Swimsuits, Saberlot, and Memelin?

Cursed Arm and Hans are definitely a good budget support. If you wanted something just a little more substantial, you could try a roll or two during the Fate Zero event coming tomorrow as both EMIYA Assassin (Kiritsugu) and Hundred-Faced Hassan will be on rate up, but you don't need to by any means, especially if you're saving quartz for future rate ups(Hundred Face is available over FP Summon anyway). Both of them also have only two quick cards as opposed to cursed arm Hassan's three anyway. They definitely carry more firepower, but you already have all the firepower you need with J'Alter anyway.
Hans and Cursed Arm Hassan are a solid support team for J'Alter.
