He will become permanent if you keep playing the event. But if you stop before making him permanent then he will be gone and you'll lose any resources you spent on him. The disclaimer just reminds you of this.

Complete Waste to Enhance Temporary Kintoki (Rider)?
I’m not sure how to interpret the disclaimer (see attached picture).
It almost sounds like the Kintoki awarded for clearing the event will NOT benefit from any leveling performed on the temporary Kintoki you get from clearing the Mountain Pass node. Does anyone else read it that way?
If that’s the case, why would anyone bother enhancing the temporary servant? And, if it’s a waste to level him up, then he’s essentially useless.

Cool. I thought for a minute the permanent servant was going to be a separate servant (starting out at level 1 again). But if the temporary one BECOMES permanent, that clears things up. Thanks!
