Command Seal Regeneration

So in the Finale exhibition, I made a mistake activating guts when Herc's Bond CE still had 1 more guts available. I cleared Nero's guts and now she's sitting at 15k health left. The next hit will kill my Herc.

I was wondering if I can wait out to tomorrow to get one CS then NP Nero to finish the quest. Can command seals regenerate mid-fight? If so, can the game kick you out of match if you wait too long?

you can wait until it regen, as long you don't abort the fight by mistake

I never actually knew about this and assumed you only get the recovered CS after a fight.

The mental image of seeing Gudao/Gudako sleeping mid-fight as both their servants and the enemy wait for them to wake up is hilarious.

Finally beat Nero with a final NP.

They'll regenerate, but in the meantime you're missing out on AP (since that bar will fill up and then go to waste) and the cost for the challenge quest is only 1 AP, so you can always just repeat it and try again.
