A buncha noob questions XD

So, I started the game like a month ago, so far I'm at London singularity in story, and got a bunch of servants I'm not too sure what to do with.
The 2 I believe to be most useful to me are Nikola Tesla and Nero Claudius (Saber), with Nero at NP4.

The few questions that I have here though, are:
1. Is it worth it to use more than 1 Archer in my lineup? I suppose Tesla is the best thing I have, so does that mean Robin Hood or David are not worth the effort?

2. Same question, although for Saber class, with how Nero fits the spot.Do I want to try and do sth with d'Eon, Saber Lily or Fergus mae Roich, as those are the only Sabers I have other than Nero?

3. Is Mash a solid character to keep around?

4. How do I want to go about filling the rest of my team? Suppose that I want to use Nero and Tesla, should I think about buffing them in any way? If I use Mash and one of the 2 as first 2 servants, does it make any difference if I put support for them in the backup?

5. Is using Mash AND Christian Andersen an idea worth considering? I mean, wouldn't it make for a low dmg output team? If not, how to go about the rest of the team?

Out of the servants that, at least according to tier lists on this page, I have at rank A or higher there are:

Mash

Nero Claudius

Nikola Tesla
David
Robin Hood
Arash

Cu Chulain (2 lancers, prototype and the other one)
Leonidas

Ushiwakamaru
Edward Teach
Georgios
(there is 4* Martha, altho appearently she isn't as good?)

Medea (adult? not the Lily one)
Hans Christian Andersen

Jekyll/Hyde
Sasaki Kojiro

Lu Bu
Asterios

Currently I have a setup with (in order)
Mash
Nikola Tesla
(Support Servant)
Nero Claudius
Kiyohime
Cu Chulain (the not-prototype one)

Sorry for the wall of text incoming! I hope this post can clear up some of your doubts. I'd just like to say I'm no expert, but I've spent quite a bit of time reading on servants and future content, so I hope the information in these answers is accurate.

1. More than one archer can work if you're facing a lineup of Saber enemies or if you require the skills of more than one of the archer servants at your disposal. Although Tesla is very powerful and will often outperform archers of inferior rarity, said archers have areas of their own that they excel in. After all, Robin Hood and David perform different roles from that of Tesla, Robin being a boss killer with the damage multiplier of Yew Bow on poisoned targets and David working well as a support unit with a party wide 1-hit Evade, Charisma and possible Skill Seal on his NP.
For example, Robin and David in the same party could possibly outperform Tesla in certain Camelot fights, where Robin can wear down boss Saber enemies with his NP while David helps avoid enemy NP damage with his evasion skill. So, if you wish to know if investing in a particular servant is a good idea you should consider if you have a clear idea of when the servant can perform their best, if you can make use of their abilities in current or upcoming content and if you don't already have someone else that can perform their role better.

2. Similar to the answer for your first question, these servants perform different roles. Nero has acceptable damage output with great self sustain with her healing and defense up skills, plus 2 arts command cards and an Arts based NP. These characteristics have great synergy with that of some other Arts users, such as Andersen for stat buffs and heals with his NP, and Tamamo for Arts performance up and reducing skill cooldowns for all party members.
Chevalier d'Eon doesn't deal much damage, but can be used as a tank by forcing enemies to attack him thanks to his third skill while other more offensively oriented (and perhaps fragile) servants do the heavy lifting for him, such as a Berserker.
Saber Lily is a bit of a different story. Her stats are low for a 4* servant and her skills don't do much to fix that. If you like her as a character you can invest in her. If you are interested in her for her AoE buster NP, then Fergus might be a better choice. He does well in buster oriented compositions, with his triple buster command cards, buster NP and damage up skill.
With all that said, these servants don't exclusively work in those compositions; you could very well have both Nero and Tesla in the same team with a support Zhuge Liang to try and blast enemy waves with their AoE NPs with varying degrees of success, or you could put all your archers together without a battle plan if the fight isn't particularly challenging. You'll often find yourself changing compositions to meet the demands of the content you're playing, so having a variety of leveled servants just opens up more options.

3. Mash will continue to get upgrades down the way, significantly improving her stats, her defense up skill and improving her NP. She's definitely worth keeping around as a tank/support.

4. As I suggested previously, you could use Nero and Tesla in the same composition if you can build a strategy around them, probably by bringing a caster on board to help them get Arts chains and fill their NP gauges quickly (hence why Zhuge Liang is a good option). But their synergy as a team won't probably go much further than that. Investing into the servants you like or the strongest servants you have is always a good idea. Nero's survival skills will be very useful in the future, and Tesla has the potential to outdamage Gilgamesh with the proper support and a little luck.
Using Mash together with Nero or Tesla could work, but Nero doesn't particularly benefit from the added durability from Mash's skills, while Tesla could do better with someone like Andersen to boost his critical damage and attack, along and a star generator such as Hassan or Jack so Tesla can use his high crit star weight to deal high damage.
As for support and sub party members, by measuring which servants will go down in a fight first you can build a plan around supporting the ones coming up, or the ones remaining when your sub party member comes up. For example, running a Berserker without a tank will most likely end up in that Berserker dying first, a likely outcome you can plan in advance for.
If you have the Combat Uniform, then you can also switch members around opening more possibilities. Of course, there's also the chance the AI or the critical RNG just decide they don't like one of your servants in particular and someone will die at a time you didn't expect.

5. Mash and Andersen would make for a low damage setup, yes. I could see those two going along with a berserker like Heracles so that the defense buffs keep him alive, though it could make for some lengthy fights if he's the only one able to deal damage. If you're not using an otherwise fragile character along with those two, then all the added defense buffs from both Mashu and Andersen together might not be worth the drop in offensive power. Andersen probably has more possible partners, as his NP increases attack damage making him a good option for just about every offensively oriented character like Tesla or Fergus, while Mash just has defensive buffs to cover for someone overly vulnerable like Kintoki or Heracles. Since both Mashu and Andersen are support characters you might want to start by thinking about which character you'll use to deal damage, and then build the team around them by choosing the correct support and allies.

1.Depends, if you are fighting sabers than its great to have more archers, also if you are using archers to fill different roles that's also fine (like Gilgamesh - damage dealer and Atalanta - crit stars supply), S-ranked 1-3 star servants are easy and worth to level up later on, when the game gets harder but for now its fine to just boost your strongest servants

tl;dr not rly unless specific conditions, its much more important to have a leveled up servant in every class

2.I don't think it gets better than Nero (SHE WONT DIE if you level up her skills) unless you get to roll a 5 star.

3. She is now and will be even more so later on, I throw her to nullify any enemy NP there is in harder quests using Mystic Code for free (0 cost) She gets a LOT of buffs as the state of the game progresses too.

4. I would, for the most part, use something like this:

A strong damage dealer (Tesla/Nero goes here or whatever deals most damage and is not countered by enemy class, exclude berserkers since they are glass cannons)

Support/Crit generator/Another leveled servent that matches enemy class (namely Hans, Mash, Georgios, maybe Mozart and for crit: Hassan, Cu lancer)

And for the friend support, you either get Waver because Waver or a servant with the most ATK that matches enemy class

And for the back row Cu lancer as the last bastion of defense (he is good at that), something that you've got leveled up or maybe a berserker)

My party looks like this 75% of the time:

Gilgamesh/Okita as a carry
Waver as a support for him/her
Friend's Waver/Jack or something that matches enemy class
Mash ready to tank enemy NP on demand with taunt
Gilgamesh/Okita/any leveled servant as a backup carry
Heracles ( same roles as cu lancer, last bastion of defense, he is hard to kill)

5.It's optimal if you use a strong damage dealer that they can buff, if the game seems slow, you can swap mash with something that deals damage or generates stars but there is no rush most of the time.
