Budget king hassan?

well i don't think there are st buster assasins but if you are fine with any great st assasin then you might consider camilla or wait till we get the kara no kyoukai next year and get shiki(she is the best 4 star st assasin)

You'd be looking for a buster type damage dealer with high durability, rather low star generation and selfish skills. I guess the closest thing you have in the assassin class might be 3* Jekyll&Hyde. The main reason being that he becomes a berserker servant after using his NP. :-)
I actually think Lubu or Herc are better options. Herc has 3 buster cards, single target NP and is practically unkillable + effective against riders. :-)

Well... the closest you can get to a buster ST Assassin... Either Sanson or Jekyll & Hyde.
Thing with these two, though, Sanson is a 2 star assassin, that means, lower attack and Assassin Multiplier, also his deck is BAQQQ so no NPBB chain. He kind of generates some stars and his NP gain isn't bad either. His skills though won't be extremely useful besides his heal and debuff clean (after Strenghthening). However I have him grailed at 85, planning on taking him to 100, and for me, he's pretty much the assassin I use the most against riders in general, but I have Merlin and Waver so of course he works for me. His damage against evil servants isn't bad either (Also, there are several Evil riders, like Teach, Drake, Medb, so you actually can use him on several challenge quests like Nerofest). If you have Merlin and/or Waver I'd say you give him a try.

Now for Jekyll & Hyde, I'd think he's your best choice for general use, mostly cause he's a safer bet with 3 star stats and his skills are more synergistic, but he's more of a berserker than an assassin, and his NP does no damage. His skills are very good though, and very consistent when he transforms into Hyde. His buster cards are pretty powerful with his Madness Enhancement A and his NP also increases his buster card (Up to 80% after interlude) while also increasing his max HP and fully healing him. Thing is, as a berserker, he has poor star gather so it will be hard to continuosly crit with him without proper support, and his survivability, while it's better in general as Jekyll and then transforming into Hyde, he'll suffer from Berserker class damage taken and also no Evade/Invulnerability, not even guts.

Jack the Ripper is coming in the Valentine's day banner, so if you want one of the best Assassins. try for her. If you are dead set on Gramps Hassan, he returns later in the year in another rate up banner. Otherwise there are other Assassins coming soon in the new chapters, so you can wait and see if you're interested in them. For F2P Assassins, check out Hundred Persona for ST NP, or Serenity or Cursed Arm for Death chance.

The highest rated low-rarity assassins are generally Cursed Arm Hassan and Fumma Kotarou, though CA Hassan is the only one with a ST NP.

Sadly, none of the low rarity assassins have the damage potential to consistently kill rider bosses. Cursed Arm has the best survivabiliy out of anyone. Kojiro is pretty decent as well, having both star gather and crit damage up on his skills. For a 1-star servant, he's surprisingly solid against riders, not to mention he's really easy to max out.

I'd say go with Cursed Arm Hassan and/or Kojiro. They don't require a huge investment and will serve you adequately until you pull a higher rarity assassin.

There is no ST buster assassin, specially one with so many busteric deck.

If what you want if a good assassin, Kotarou has the best stargen of the game after Jack, and is a debuffer. 2* Hassan is close of that, but with ST NP, and 3 hit evade skill.

Neither hits very hard, strong rider boss killer...wait untill first semester of 2020 for welfare Shiki, best Arts Assassin 4*, with instant kill and pierce invulnerability in her kit, arts up, and crit up with evade.

I have had almost the exact same issue with the rider giant dragon mini-bosses. In particular, the level 77 one after defeating Mordred in Camelot gave me fits and ultimately was defeated using all 3 command spells to revive my party.

On that boss I had a lvl 55 True Assassin Hassan and a level 60 Fuuma, a level 65 support Hassan of Serenity or the quest Hassan of a thousand faces. They all got wrecked.

Fuuma produced a ton of stars but hit like a wet noodle. Using his NP on the dragon boss did about as much damage as my non-assassin Santa Alter did with her burster cards.

The Hassans did much better but still didn't do much damage and eventually died. I got so desperate I started leveling Stenno just to have another assassin to fight it with when I finally used my command spells.

Since then I looked up the 3* assassins and have leveled up Jing Ke to 70. Having played her for a while I feel she fairs better against Riders than the others. She won't die if the dragon looks at her wrong, and she (seems to me) hits harder than the other budget assassins. Plus she has a quick version of mana burst for her NP.

Since then I came across another Great Dragon in Babylon and was able to kill it the first time and without command spells. That said, I beleive this dragon, Bašmu, is only level 65.

I must also say, that for an assassin, she is horrible at producing stars without her CDs. I don't think her performance against dragons is significantly better than the 3* Hassans either. The problem seems to be that in addition to a 0.9 damage modifier, budget assassins don't have much attack in general.

Currently my plan is to stick with her until I can get a Camilla or Hopefully a Jack the Ripper to use instead.

Btw, you can solo Rider enemies using assassin Scathach with a guts CE or any survivability CEs.
I don't have any problem to deal Riders with more than 200k HP using her, she only need one NP to kill them all. She cleared tons of Rider waves with lots of HP in Babylonia.
Sometimes i can burst down Rider with 300 HP ++ by using Scat ass and they died real quick.

Single boss with huge HP ? For example, a Rider with 600K Hp just put a Crit based team and Scathach as your main Crit DPS. You can even add Cursed Arm or Fuuma so you can consistently Crit ( Scat can make Crit stars on her own, with Fuuma or Cursed Arm you can Crit more consistently ).
For taunt and tank purpose ? If you have one copy of lvl 1 Scat or use her as a tank with a taunt CEs, it's doable.

Maybe you're using Scat Ass wrong, good masters/pilot can properly use her/his servants.

There are lots of ways to clear this game contents, gotta catch them all and know your servant kits well before using them. Don't forget about the enemies too.

For ST Assassins, Cursed Arm ( Sustained DPS ) and Hassan of Serenity ( versatile Assassin ).
Jean Kay ( Jing ke LOL ) for ST Quick Assassin and Crit Assassin, if you prefer big damage choose this servant. No survivability, but that things can be covered by your team members. Remember, each servants has it's own weakness.

I used scathach a lot during lottery farming. She does pretty good damage.
Your other options are jing ke and hf hassan. Both must be np5 and have their relevant skills at least 6.
