What’s the best way to farm skill gems? I finally started upgrading my other servants skills and I’m running low on the gems. Are events the best way or the dailies?

Dailies, but the droprate per AP is pretty atrocious. I'd say just wait for the Christmas event. It'll be here in about a month and it has a lottery that's full of skill gems. It's by far the most AP efficient for getting skill gems. For now it'd be better just to farm the Halloween shop, continue story (if you haven't finished) or farm exp imo.
Prioritize getting the Gems from events (especially the Secret Gem of X), only really look to farming the blue / red ones from Dailies if you can help it.
If you have absolutely nothing else to farm, then try you can try and farm them from Training dailies, but it's extremely slow going at the best of times. ;-;
Events with gems in lotteries (the next 2 Christmass/es), or in their shop, like the last NeroFest.
Sadly, those are kinda rare, most just have monuments, so, in the lack of those, take a week to farm Chaldea Gate 10 AP for blue gems (sometimes it drops 3, sometimes, zero, often just 1 per try...), 40 AP for improbable yellow gems (usually not...), the other two for red gems...
And people complain about bone-hell, fang-hell, dust-hell, chain-hell; gemhell is almost as depressing as medal hell...
Dailies. 10 AP training grounds statistically drop at least one blue gem, but RNG doesn't care about statistics. I've spent 100 AP on the easiest difficulty and got nothing before.
Events are the guaranteed way of getting gems, though the availability depends on the event.
I totally agree with this, those training ground sometimes troll people so much.
Spend tons of AP, i only got scarce amount of ember and qp there.
No matter how we calculate things, no matter how exact our data about it, RNG/Luck is truly unmeasureable.
Farm itself is like a Gacha.
Hard Fact of FGO, RNG doesn't care about statistics.
I find the drop rate for blue and red ones pretty good on the dailies since you can get up to 4 in one go. Rare ones... Events are the way to go. Last time we had a half off training grounds I racked up over 70 red lancer gems and only a handful of rare ones. Had to wait until the next event to get enough to 10/10/10 my cu.
I would only recommend dailies when we get 1/2 AP training grounds, or if you're just lacking like one or two gems for a skillup. Otherwise, events are the way to go.
