Who is the best general purpose single target servant. I'm hoping to get Jack for the GSSR but I would like a more concentrated DPS quick servant. I'm currently undecided between Okita and MHXA so if you guys could give some advice or let me know if there are other better quick servants that would be much appreciated.
I know that currently quick servants are a bit of a joke. But I prefer the Quick play style of sustained dps over Busters 1 turn nuke and because in a year and a half Skadi is gonna revive Quick.
If you're going for pure damage, I would say Okita. I would even say that she is more reliable than Mushashi, who only does damage in bursts. However, if you're looking for all around support, then go for MHXA b/c she's berserker, but she'll get affected by everyone equally. Scathath lancer is also really good, especially for those annoying berserker/archer bosses.
Having used Scathach, I've found her to be inconsistent. That first skill is unreliable as a crit lancer due to the fact that both need to proc and her np gain is pretty much tied to cirts. Her third skill is also useless against non divine/undead enemies.
Okitas skills are also quite burst reliant due to two of her most important skills only lasting one turn.
MHXA is the most consistent and her flaws can be rectified. Crit star pull using CEs and hard sustain using support servants
Regarding my previous answer, perhaps I may have been biased due to my frequent use of Scathath. I always find her NP stun clutch in difficult situations, perhaps because my playstyle involves a lot of stalling.
Quick is no joke and their consistency is real, if you want someone like Okita/Jack there will be Onigashima re-run on the next year.

Free NP 5 + OC increase Quick effectiveness + Easy to crit because he's almost always raining with Crit stars and of course NP spam !
One of my most dependable unit, broken as fuck and can deal massive damage with the right set up.
Forneus and Halphas killer, in easy mode.
I started playing during Kara no Kyoukai event so I didn't get him but I'll definitely get him next year.

Between Okita and MHX, Okita is better choice.. Can't say much about other servants since my mainstream is Art.
Probably Okita, Jack or Kintoki rider. All have the same general strategy to them when soloing, Jack's probably the best of the three at doing it and NP5 Kintoki has the highest NP damage. When Skadi comes along, Edmond Dantes becomes insane with his double skadi NP shenanigans. MHX is alright, but not amazing. MHXA is (I think) the best quick berserker. Scathach is also great, especially with Skadi support.
