I've been farming the beelzebub node on lava tubes for octuplet crystals and I've had more drops of scales than crystals. More heroic elly's too. Should I keep plugging away at this difficulty or move down to demonic?
Demon Lord has better drops than any Demonic equivalent, you're just kinda unlucky...like me, trying to farm feathers in Graveyard wth one GApple, and only getting one War Horn, 2 Yellow Rider and 1 Lancer Yellow Gems...god, why.
I gotcha. Yeah, I've gotten 1 Elly and 4 scales. In 5 runs. Which I guess speaks well to my low-percentage drop rng, but I want octuplets....

beelzebub is already the highest difficulty and thus the most efficient droprate per ap spent
just rip your luck

Even the best farm node yet still need RNG/Luck.
If you're comfortable farming the octuplet in the beelzebub difficulty, it's fine.
Keep farm hard and the result will not dissapoint you, best of luck : )
There's an advanced node with 14 - 17 golem by using +100% enemy, if you want specific material only.
Though, no matter how good the farm places is, RNG is the real problem.
I'll keep farming the demon lord difficulty because I'm not quite done with silver sacks yet :) thanks for the help though! Out of curiosity, do you happen to know the drop rate for the advanced node? I have about 3 runs left of demon lord and then I want just crystals.
Nope, lucks beat statistics in FGO.
Farm itself is like a Gacha, bitter fact and that's how this game works.
Go for the node with most Golem, that's should do the job.
...and now I'm farming Pyramid for Medals, got 2 Rider Gold Monuments from Ozy, 2 Scarabs.
Just drop the damn medals, game...
