Are the shop CE's worth getting?

The only one that seems to be decent is Hero Elly, as it seems to be an improved Kaleid Ruby. If all 5 copies were in the shop, I'd just go for it, but it looks like another Halloween Princess situation. (Seriously, why do I have to grind to MLB it? So frustrating..) The rest don't seem to be too particularly useful either, at least not for any of my servants. Mata Hari's Tavern could be useful on someone like Emiya I'd guess, but I don't have an Emiya. And Wizard & Priest, I don't know anyone I could equip Wizard & PRiest to. Maybe Tamamo? Would it work with her?

If I had the farming CE's to make it go a little faster, I wouldn't even question it, but all I've got is the Copper boost CE, and I'm not about to spend some Quartz on the event gacha while I'm saving for King Hassan (Wish me luck on that), so I've got to decide if it's worth it to farm for the CE's, or focus my attention on the embers and Mana Prism's. What do you guys think?

I'd say buy them. The reason being we'll get a rerun next year. Having the CE's would help and you could also MLB Hero Elly if you didn't get a drop this year. But yeah, I agree that you won't find a lot of use for the 3/4* CE. You might use them when you want to save party cost, but I think that's about it.

Wizard and Priest would work well with Cat and Carmilla, just to name a few. And yes, good luck on rolling for gramps.

AFAIK, if you can MLB the shop CEs, it will double the amount of mobs that you fight while farming, which will also double the amount of drops that you get while farming. So you can farm twice as efficiently if you buy them. Guess you'd need to math it out to see whether or not they will pay for themselves quickly enough for it to be worth spending the resources, but I assume that it probably will, especially since you can use these CEs next year as well.

Though, it's worth noting that each node will almost double in difficulty/length if you do this, so you might have to change the type of team that you run.

As far as the usefulness of the CEs, outside of the event goes, the 3* and 4* CEs aren't the best, but they aren't bad either.

Matahari's Tavern isn't something I'd use regularly, but there are times when party cost becomes an issue, and I'm forced to stick a 3* CE on somebody. At MLB, it's not too bad. I'd probably use it on a Rider, since they tend to crit a lot and they often have pretty mixed decks.

Wizard and Priest could be useful in an arts team, since they often rely both on NP spam and healing. Though I'd probably tend to use other CEs instead. But no, I probably wouldn't use it on Tamamo, since she doesn't benefit from the NP damage, and she's fairly tanky so she probably won't need the extra healing as much as some other member of the team will. It increases healing received, rather than healing casted. So you'd want to either put it on the squishiest person in your arts team, or the one that has an NP that actually does damage. Often, those two characteristics apply to the same person.

Hmm, I'll farm for a while, and see how well I make do without them. They don't sound like they'll be ones I'd use too much, I'd just be getting them for the collection. As far as Wizard And Priest on Tamamo, I only thought of her because her NP heals, I didn't know NP Strength only reffered to NP damage, I just figured it meant the general strength of the NP's effects.
