Apples for Holy Night Sign?

I've cleared out the lottery and everything I want from the shop, but still don't have my 5th copy of the CE. Is it worth using apples chasing it? I have a huge stockpile and won't be running short for the next lottery. Plus, would it be more effective to farm at novice where you get more chances for a drop at a lower rate or at expert where it eats up your ap faster but has a higher drop rate?

How about farming the remaining items ? You could set a limit of apples you’ll use so that you can avoid wasting them

With ~50 max ascended servants and enough pieces and monuments to max ascend 2 or more servants per class, really don't need to buy more. Would just get qp if I do keep hunting the ce.

A lot of time.

Once I got the first batch of servants max ascended, I was in the training grounds for gems and kept getting pieces and monuments. Then nerofest lottery and other events keep giving you pieces and monuments as rewards rather than as optional shop items... It adds up after a year. I started playing right after Santa alter's event last year.

If you trade in the stockings and gold pieces for QP, you wind up getting like 800k-900k QP from the 40AP node. Could be even more if you've got some Present for My Master CEs. It's not as good as farming the daily, but it's still better than the QP exhange rate that we normally have in events. So if you want this CE, it's not too bad to farm for it. You can just pretend that you're farming QP.

Seems like a decent CE for a quick-based Rider, such as Mary Reed, Ushiwakamaru, or Kintoki. At least, it is more suitable for that role than any of the CEs that I currently have, so I would have probably used some apples to get it if it hadn't dropped for me. And worst case scenario, I think that the stocking -> QP ratio actually isn't too horrible, so you won't come away completely empty-handed in any case. But whether or not it is worth it probably really depends on what CEs you have available to you, and what servants you like to use. My gacha luck is generally very bad, so event CEs are my lifeline.

You're best off farming the 40 AP node. It's 2500 AP/D at the 40 AP node, and 5000 AP/D at the 10 AP node. So the 40 AP node is twice as efficient. The 50 AP node will be equally efficient as the 50 AP node.

However 1.6% dropping chance is still bad. But other's wont be good either. 40 ap for 1.6% vs 50 ap for 2.0% are almost same APG. Sadly it is a rerun event so 50 ap only existed for 1 day.

I dont really recommend this CE. It looks good in paper, but not really in practical. Only very few amount of Quick-Oriented servants could be beneficial, like Kintoki and Ushi.

Others? it wont be good as non-MLB Imaginary Around, and even MLB Gandr. Because:

(1) Critical-up's precondition is that your servant has high star weight, or skill to absorb star. In this case, most Quick-Oriented servants are not included, even many Assassins. Only few Quick-Oriented rider, or Okita (debatable, since only 1 turn star absorption) in 4060 critical team is good to have this MLB CE.

(2) 10% Quick-up is quite low. How can it be compared with Joint Recital as free CE? I used quartz as apple for that 5th copy of JR.

(3) Most Quick-Oriented servants' best weapon to deal damage is their NP. Their Quick card is route to generate star and NP gain, in order to NP spam, but not as major source to provide damage. Critical Quick's damage still roughly be paired with non-critical Buster. That is why Imaginary Around and Gandr are more simple but effective.

Overall, if you have a bunch of Quick-oriented servants, but rare Quick-based CE. It is good for MLB. But besides of that, I dont really recommend.

I was mostly thinking of jack and kintoki rider, since they are my best quick based star generators that could use crit strength up with quick up. I do have a single imaginary around and gandr. So you think the straight up 15-25% quick up is better than the combo quick crit up? Then I guess I won't feel too bad if I don't get a 5th one. (Still bummed I didn't get a 5th joint recital even with enough farming for 18 boxes...)

Well, I prefer Kintoki is decent for Holy Night Sign. But not Jack.
Because Rider has high star weight. And Kintoki has 1 more Buster card which will maximum damage.

My opinion is because, there is no Skadi available, most of these Quick servants are better to have efficient cycle of NP spam (QQQ or AQQ) rather than rely on Critical damage to enemy.
imaginary around and gandr can also further enhance NP damage as well as improve tendency for NP spam.
I am not a fun for Quick-Critical combo. If that CE is a combo of Quick+attack-up, or Quick+NP gain-up/Star generation-up, I think it is even better than single imaginary around and gandr.
