Any good servant to pair with Gilgamesh?

Hi im f2p and started playing since the ,,Christmas 2018 Event: The Little Santa Alter'',so i still have little knowledge.I was lucky to pull Gilgamesh out from a summon ticket and maxed it to lvl 90.Could you guys recomend some 3 star units to go with him?I was thinking to pick Andersen and Hassan of the Cursed Arm.(no idea what im doing)
So far i have:
5*-Gilgamesh,Enkidu,Vlad 3
4*-Santa Lily, Vlad 3(EXTRA), Lancelot, Emiya,Chevalier d'Eon
1-3*-Besides Romulus, Gilles de Rais, Mephistopheles and Lu Bu Fengxian i have everyone.

I would gladly accept any other team builds beside Gilgamesh too.

Thanks in advance.

I think you can put Emiya (I think you meant archer but if assassin would also work) and max Hawkeye for Gil. If possible you can borrow Waver or Merlin from a friend for extra damage. Or if you want to a tank for Gil then go with d'Eon.

Star generators like Hans, Cursed Arm, and Kotarou are usually good additions, but really Gilgamesh is pretty self sufficient at generating crit stars. He will benefit more from Mash or Shakespeare so he can charge his NP faster.

Well I have a 5* Gil Lv 100 and use it for EVERYTHING (Even vs Camelot Altria). And I will tell the 5 Servants I think that are better for supporting Gil.

1st place - Hans Christian Andersen: Buffs Critical Damage, provides A LOT of C. Stars, and maybe increase Atk, Def, C. Star drop rate and/or gives a Heal per turn all this during 3 turns, since you will probably use a CE that gives Hans 50% NP gauge from the start, the Rapid Casting E grants a Turn 1 NP.

2nd place - Leonidas I: Taunt, but also Buffs the Buster Card Effectiveness for 30% during 3 turns!!! And his NP gives U 25 C. Stars at lv 5 wich is not hard 2 get.

3rd place - Mash: I don't need 2 explain, right? Well, Gil have almost no Survival, and Mash can save his skin.

4th place - Gaius Julius Caesar: If you need lots of buffs just to finish the battle, this is the guy you need, but these are all the good points of the Fat Emperor (I use it on backrow because Combat Suit). And if somehow a miracle happens and Caesar don't die in 1 round, his NP provides the same amount of C. Stars than Leonidas I if the same LV.

5th place - Georgios: If you REALLY need a taunter, Georgios can do the job, but as a Rider he could steal Gil's C. Stars (even if Gil uses Collector EX/ Treasure of Babylon EX), so... Leonidas I is better.

P.S: Sorry for my terrible english.

I agreed to this and i also use that servant to help me in the Raid and Harder content alike, especially to cover Gilgamesh weakness ( ehmm no survivability kit ).

Even outside covering/supporting Gil, Caesar and Leo is really valuable as a Buster Crit team member.

More benefit of Caesar :
- If he has Ox Demon King, Caesar will provide 4 different buff and it stacks multiplicatively !. The buff was Atk Up + NP damage up + Crit damage Up + Buster UP ( Ox Demon ).
- can be used as a buffer team member to help for one shotting enemy bossess and finishes Raid Bossess faster.
- doing very well in a Crit team and Gilgamesh can make his own star, so Caesar give his 3rd skill to Gil to ensure he will rain Crit stars.
Crit Stars gen up + Crit damage, that's really cool !

More benefit of Leo and the tanks :

- Gilgamesh need a tank because he is lacking survival kit, Leo can do the job well and also when he dies, he can be used as a '' chain Buff '' member on the frontline.
Then the next Supp/buffer come in to give Gilgamesh even more powerful steroids.

Mash is no explanation, just the best tank in FGO and provide team protection really well on any hard content and challenges.

I have Gilgamesh myself and Gilgamesh + Leonidas + Caesar + Waver + Anniversary Blonde is one of my 1-2 turn kill set up for easier fight.
Chaldea Combat Suit for more flexibility and for tougher bossess.

Any star generator is typically the best fit for Gil. Hans and Hassan are both good choices, Fuma is best for purely star gen though, Hans just has more to offer.

I would also advise rolling for Merlin if you still have SQ. He is the perfect fit for Gil, he compensates for all of Gil's weaknesses.

Caesar is a good option besides Hans. He has charisma, np dmg up and crit dmg up. If you have a CE to help him np faster he can provide stars.

Merlin mash and hans everytime.
For more offensive power, caesar.
For an evade vs aoe np and star gen, fuuma.
For vs st np, chevalier. I do not recommend georgios as he steals stars nor leonidas as you will most likely face sabers.

Buster Crit team is a home for Gilgamesh, the peoples also has provide you some useful servant that really suit Gilgamesh playstyle or to cover his weaknessess.

My best pick :
For long term investment or consistent Buster Crit team supp, Hans is your best friend.
Caesar, his entire kit can help Buster team or general team deal more damage and Crit harder.
Leonidas for your specific Buster tank.
If you have a Crit Star gen CEs like 2030 or something like that, it's really useful for Gilgamesh so he can Crit consistently. Use the CEs for supp alike.

Bonus : Try to field Gilgamesh + Hans + friends Merlin + Caesar later, you'll see Gilgamesh Crit damage real hard and some broken damage.
Because it's a freaking Gilgamesh + Merlin !

Gilgamesh, Hans and Enkidu would make a really good team. Enkidu can generate decent stars and Hans can increase the critical damage for Gil. Gil on his own can also increase a decent amount of stars, so with Enkidu, you should have plenty. Hans can also keep your team alive with his NP along with buffing your attack and defence.

Hans with 2030 and Shakespeare with Ox Demon King would be the ideal, but you likely does not have the CEs...so just put divine banquet on both mages, max Shakespeare 1st skill and Hans 1st and 3rd.

Hans and Shakespeare together with a golden buster crit servant are like mini-Merlim (sadly, once the skills and NP enter on cooldown, they will be dead weight, but at least they will ease your arts chains a lot...).

Mash, specially post Camelot (first skill gets a 1 time absurd 2K dmg cut, and NP give also a attack up to the other 2 members in the party) is useful, charge his bar+invulnerability with 2nd skill, can protect him with a taunt (and she is neutral to berserker dmg, good meatshield against them) and a def up.

Since he crits so much, put a Rin's Pendant/Gem Magecraft Atumbra/Victor from the Moon on him, he will be causing tons of consistent crit dmg.
