About Suanxang?

Sanzang is a strange limbo between single-target Assassin destroyer and team utility support. For killing assassins you can pair her up with the typical supports (waver/merlin/hans). As for teamwide support you can level up Sanzang's Teachings for a decently strong team-wide NP% gain buff, as well as debuff immunity.

Sanzang works well in a lot of teams. Arts teams can help her spam her NP, and her second skill makes her somewhat more tanky. She tends to be outclassed by strong single-target berserkers, even when fighting assassins.

All in all, she's not stellar but she can pull her weight.

She is a versatile offensive caster. Casters are restricted to their low 0.9 attacking modifier, their attacking power wont be good enough. However, Xuanzang has good supportive skills, no matter 3rd skill as top-ranked team buff style skill, or 2nd skill could be used in with Berserkers, or with some specific servants like Mashu.

Obtaining her in NP2 or even higher is a even more superiority. We can pair her in team with normal caster supports (Merlin, Waver, Hans and even Shakespeare) in order to kill a assassin boss very quick, or pair her with combo team of her+Berserker DPS+support to face multi-class enemies. Nightingale is also an excellent accompany to her.
