About Herc and Cu Alter's NP
It just occurred to me that Herc's NP inflict Defense Break on the enemy and Cu Alter's NP gives him and Attack Boost at the start of the turn (right before he lashes in the tear the poor enemy apart) and I'm wondering if I should situate the NP card at the start of the chain (Buster card's bonus and the latter cards will benefit from Defense Break (Herc) or Attack Boost (Cu) ) OR situate the NP card at the end of the chain (for Buster ++)
Which of the two deals more damage in general, guys?

Don't be me. Don't play the game for nearly a year before realizing that NPs don't get card order buffs.

You should use np first 99% of the time as they are always considered as a first card and don't get any other bonus no matters their orders.Thats even more important if they debuff stats like defense

Just to piggyback on everyone's responses here, there are also some cases where NPs should be placed at the end of the chain.
One particular example here is Tamamo no Mae's NP, which recharges NP bars for her teammates, making it more worthwhile to use it right after everyone else in the team has blown their wads.

As many already said (which I just learned), Card Order boost does not affect NPs. Anyway, always start with the NP, as the other cards do benefit of Cu's attack boost and so.
