If you dont get the permanent version of the servant then yes, they will be gone after the event ends and your investment be lost, if you do get them then all the investment you made will stay.

About Event Free temporary units
I want to ask if you got an event free temporary unit, if you lv them up and invest into them, obviously if you don;t make them permanent you lose all your investment but if you managed to make them permanent, will your investment stay or get reset?

It's really very easy,most of the quests for the free unit are for low level servants,so the only thing difficult it's np5 them,by difficult I mean farming materials as they are really repetitive and a little boring but it's easy to get the servant
