About the event

So i heard you get 10 SQ by participating (once the event ends). Lets say i rush though the story like crazy and clear america and tried to participate. Lets say that since i rushed the story so fast my people are clearly under-leveled for the event and get slaughtered..... if i do still lose do i still get that 10 SQ....
