About Eli Lancer

Well, at least for now, I'd say Jalter lancer is better. Reasons being:

- At NP5, her NP hits harder than Eli's. Eli does eventually get a strengthening quest that makes her NP2 match Jalter lancer's NP5, but you'll likely have to wait till 2020 for that.

- Her attack buff is more selfish, but has a much higher buff value than Eli's. Since both are farming servants designed to one-shot a line of enemies, Jalter's buff is more relevant here.

- Jalter also has an NP charge skill, and Eli does not, which again, make her superior at their shared role: farming.

- Eli has guts while Jalter has a targeteable heal and invincibility, which is generally better.

Depends on you. Eli Lancer's role is for support with her skills since her damage is so so specially once she gets her strengthening quest which upgrades her Charisma to Sadistic Charisma to further increase Attack of Female Servants with an on demand defense down and guts.
Jailter on the other hand, is somewhat a support as well since you can have a party attack plus on her NP and if your have another healer with you, (ex. Medea Lily, which is a focus on this banner) she can increase the hp when healing received by your team when medea lily uses her Np after. She also has a Buster steriod abeit with a 1.2k hp cost plus invincibility as well but she can also heal with her 1st skill and charge her NP with her 2nd skill. Lastly, her NP damage will be better since she will be at NP 5 because she's a welfare servant.

If you need an AoE lancer before Christmas and have the materials, why not level Liz? I have her at np3 7/7/7 I think and quite like her. Or course she is my only gold lancer (ignoring the stupid Fion I go instead of summer Tama, grrr) but she's gotten me through many archer fights with only the cu duo as lancer backup.

I can't wait for Christmas an jalter lancer, especially after the summer gatcha disappointment.

Well,, since I dont play JP too much that I cannot tell how Jalter Lily is good or not, but...

So Liz and Jalter Lily are both framing AOE NP servant. They could also acted as secondary hitter + support.

Liz's supportive role is rely on her offensive skills, very good after her 1st skill strengthening in few months, as well as excellent 5 turn cooldown+3 turn lasting.

Jalter Lily's supportive role looks not so good in the first look. But in some cases, like team up with Berserkers, or taunt servants, healing is also important.

In fact, team up Jalter Lily with Liz in a archer fighting is also not a bad idea. Sometimes the 2nd support like casters, Mashu or Nightingale won't receive class advantage merits, Jalter Lily's healing for them is also important, and Liz's offensive support is also beneficial for Jalter Lily.

But if you want to only focusing on how farm is good or not, and don't want to invest too servants, Jalter Lily win. Three things: (1) AQQ card, Jalter Lily's basic performance (Hit account + NP gain + star generation) is close to Karna, theologically better than Liz for her NP charge in combination of her 2nd skill. (2) Liz's 1st+2nd skill make her damage not bad, but Jalter Lily's 3rd skill is absolutely one best skill to self-burst 1-round offensive-up so far. (3) NP5. So.
