hi guys, i want to build an art team as i have archuria (the only ssr i have), i see that tamamo and waver seem to be quite essential for an art team.
I'm a half f2p player so not planning to spending too much, prob stop after getting either one of them, just wanna know is it worth it to do this caster summon or should i wait for a focused summon in the future.
i hear that merlin is coming and apparently he is op? maybe i should save up for him instead? srry for long question ;(, thx heaps :D.
The answer is yes save everything for Merlin as he is actually absolutely meta breaking. If you can afford it though, Tamamo is about to be on rateup sometime soon (Halloween rerun I believe). That might be a better time to try to roll for her. And if you have Merlin you don't really need waver.
Merlin is the support unit that breaks the game. He does so by covering all aspects of the game that a dps servant might need. Bad at star generation? Merlin's got you covered. Have no crit steroid? Merlin will give you a 100% buff. Really poor at gaining np? Merlin's np (which he can cast often) has an ability that gets you 5 % per turn passively AND stacks. Oh and it heals too on top of that. Need to live through an aoe np? Merlin's got you boi, with group invuln. He's the Lord of the memes and can grow dicks anywhere he wants and absolutely breaks the game. I didn't even mention his targeted buster buff..
I’m pretty sure those are the exception but if you carry a Waver with you, you can essentially give everyone a defense buff and damage cut steep enough to survive anyways- especially if your Main DPS is a Saber
Finally a good question ^^ that may be the most niche weakness ever but it is a weakness. Unfortunately typically Titoria is dead to the buster crits before she can np.
Tamamo will have a rate up soon, so spend some quartz if you want.
If you want to spend money, roll on the GSSR caster banner on new year. You'll get either Tamamo, Waver, or Xanzang, so you have 2/3 chance of getting the caster you want.
Merlin is a very valuable support, so definitely roll for him. Gilgamesh Caster is also a very great art support, plus he is a 4 star, so the chance of getting him is higher.
Besides of GSSR rolling in New year, for the Babylon Chapter release, rolling for Caster-GIl means you have chance to roll Enkidu as his best friend. And Enkidu is also top Lancer deserved rolling.
Medusa Lancer is a good SR lancer, especially when teamed with her sisters versus males.
Demonic Bodhisattva SSR CE and Room Guarder SR CE are also excellent too.
