About avenger gorgon

Nah,unless you wanna give it a run for her "body" and you like her as a character I wouldn't recommend it

She has the hightest attack stat of all 4*, dethroning Herc.

But she causes boring neutral dmg to all but rulers, and also, her dmg steroid is one turn only.

So, she works as universal wave clearer on enemies who don't have a truly massive HP...yet AOE Zercs are still better in this job, just for causing advantaged dmg against almost all classes.

Hessian Lobo is indeed better, ST and dmg steroid is, I think, 2 turns.

As for the Alters, Lancer Alter is a both the best AOE 4* Lancer (sans welfare Jalter Lily of next event) and a great 1-turn crit dmg skill...Salter and Santalter have a massive NP multiplier for an AOE, and problems charging it; have a Immaginary Number/Kaleidoscope for farming the lancer nodes.

Santalter is Salter with 1000 less Attack, some hundreds less HP, and easy NP5. Her crits and targettable heal are her identity. So, dont par her with other Riders, and do give her a star generator.

Salter, if grailed 2X is objectively better than OG Saber, as she gets a little bit more attack, and that combined with her massively superior NP multiplier, makes the job as farmer/wave clearer much, much better. Still ends with far less HP, like, 3000 less.

If you're comparing both servants, each have their weaknessess and strengths.
For the boss fight, doggo is suited for that.
For wave clearing and farming, it's snake job.

Yeah, her NP is weak if you just using her NP to a single enemy. It's different if you're using it to multiple enemies/bosses.
Same with doggo, you use him to fight multiple enemies it is not really effectives. It's doggo best job to take a single bosses.

For the weak or not, it depend on the situations and the said servants base kit.
Also we as their master is the biggest factor for deciding it.

A good point about Gorgon? You can consider the fact that she's got huge boobs. I mean some serious honkers. A real set of badonkers. Packin some dobonhonkeros. Massive dohoonkabhankoloos. Big ol' tonhongerekoogers. Colossal bonkhonagahoogs. Humongous hungolomghononoloughongous.

Gorgon is a discount Jalter for all intents and purposes. She is designed for one turn burst damage through Buster Crits from Merlin, same as Jalter, her skills and stats just suffer a bit of a downgrade from 4* and non-limited status. Her NP is wave clearing mainly, but you can still use it for BBB Crit chains, she also packs the highest atk stat for all 4*, so she is definitely strong.

None of the alters are overrated, they are more or less just outdated. OG Salter still has a ridiculous NP multiplier, and very high atk, and if you get her to higher NP levels, she will hit harder than some ST NPs, except she does it across the whole field. Santa Alter is a top tier farming servant, because she is basically NP5 Salter with even worse skills, and 1000 less atk, still good against caster bosses and demon pillars though. Lancer Alter still makes a good case for being one of the strongest lancers in the game, her crits are no joke when boosted with Merlin, even if her NP sucks.

Gorgon is actually good, better than Lobo even. She gets an NP interlude later and her NP gives team NP charge each time it is used.

Her only weakness is lack of star absorption, that you can supplement with CEs, go the Black Grail route because her NP gain is good and her NP is good.
